Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - A Fair Fight

Hello everyone! This is my first entry for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today I'm sharing a battle of mine in Modern Diamond Ranked

I fought an interesting battle with a rule set that makes things fair: Equalizer.

This game has the following rule sets: Fire & Regret, Counterspell, and Equalizer. I went with Lorkus. I like this summoner in Equalizer because it is easier for your Life Leech monsters to survive until they get too big to handle. I placed Dumacke Orc in front, a fantastic card in this rule set. I followed it up with Venator Kinjo, Scorch Fiend, Venka the Vile, and Corpse Fiend. They opted for Lux Vega with the Weapons Training combination of Pelacor Conjurer, Moxian Rebel, and Albahoo Forester. Next, they chose Venator Kinjo, Venka, and Soul Fiend. I broke the golden rule of Equalizer: play all 6 monsters.

I gave the Life Leech and Affliction to Venka and Orc. They attacked my Orc a few times but did little damage. When my Venka attacked, it didn't miss the Conjurer, so it killed it in one hit (because the Magic Reflect took care of the Holy Shield) and also left their Rebel at 1 HP, which the Orc finished. In round 2, my Venka did the same as last round: killed the first monster and left the other one low enough for Orc to finish. Round 3 was the last one and my Venka took out theirs and also left their Fiend very low for it to die to Thorns./div>
