Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Possibilus the Wise Mirror

Hello everyone! This is my first entry for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today I'm sharing a battle of mine in Modern Diamond Ranked

I fought an interesting battle where both players used the legendary summoner Possibilus the Wise.

This game has the following rule sets: Shades of Gray, What Doesn't Kill You, and Noxious Fumes. Possibilus the Wise is one of the better summoners for Shades of Gray. With limited cards available, being able to use 2 big monsters instead of one, is pretty nice. We both started with Arkemis the Bear and Mantaroth. These are already great outside Shades of Gray but they get even less competition here. I put Drybone Raider and Venka the Vile next, and finished the team with a little Weapons Training combination of Grimbardun Smith and Moxian Rebel. They went with Venari Marksrat for their third slot, an excellent choice in Noxious Fumes, followed by the same Weapons Training combination, although their Rebel is only at level 2. They ended the team with Coeurl Lurker.

I only missed one attack on their Lurker, which was great and I left it at 4 HP before the Poison. However, my Bear also took some serious damage, going to 6 HP before the Poison. In round 2, Venka finished the Lurker, but it was reduced to 4 HP thanks to 2 Thorns and the Poison. They were able to kill my Bear with Mantaroth, but I also reduced their Bear to 2 HP, which meant it died to the Poison, along with the Rebel. In round 3, the Raider was in the 2nd position, so I dealt a lot of damage to their Mantaroth, killing it and Marksrat. After the Poison, I also lost Venka and my Rebel. In the next one, Mantaroth went to 1 HP but after 4 attacks from the Raider and 2 from Mantaroth, the game was over.
