Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Up Close Against Astral Entity

Hello everyone! This is my second entry for this week's Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Today I'm sharing a battle of mine in Modern Diamond Ranked

I fought an interesting battle in the Up Close & Personal rule set. My opponent used Astral Entity and I didn't. Am I insane?

This game has the following rule sets: Tis but Scratches, Up Close & Personal, and Melee Mayhem. I decided to go with Akane. With 99, Dragon is very tempting. My team was Coeurl Lurker, Arkemis the Bear, Harklaw, Drybone Raider, and Agor Longtail. They went with Astral Entity and placed Ever-Hungry Skull in front. They went very heavy Demoralize with Disintegrator, Legionnaire Alvar, and Harklaw. They put Drybone Raider in the 4th position and Venator Kinjo in the last one.

I have Ambush to Agor Longtail (the obvious choice as it will take out the Skull with the Magic attack) and Mantaroth. I was debating between Mantaroth and Drybone Raider. Raider, if it hits, it takes out all the Armor from the Skull. However, with Flying Dodge, and 3 speed difference, I opted for Mantaroth because it will deal some damage and Blast damage. After the Ambush phase, It had to be Agor to kill the Skull the second time. They took out my Lurker and I missed many attacks on their Disintegrator, leaving it alive with 2 HP. In round 2, my Bear finished the Disintegrator. I thought I was gonna kill Alvar too, but I missed many attacks again. It had to the Bear to finish the job, in the next round. Agor and Harklaw took out their Raider and their team was falling apart, at this point. I started missing less and Agor killed both their monsters in round 4.
