Very thought provoking post! I would just like to point out that its not an either/or situation. Its always a risk/reward equation. If you are just looking for rate of return, Splinterlands is a no brainer. At the end of the day, if you are looking for rate of return with some amount of safety, then the key is not keeping all your eggs in one basket! Diversification is the key to protecting and growing your wealth. Crypto, fiat, gold, real estate - own as diverse a basket of assets as possible so that you are protected from market flucations while still having exposure to high growth assets like Splinterlands.
