Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! Going through the Splinterlands cards, I came across this one of “Sacred Unicorn”, which made me remember about three years ago when I drew the character to participate in the contest. Now I'm doing it again to share it with the community and in this week's Social Media Challenge.
Hola gente bonita! ¡Espero estén súper bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Revisando las cartas de Splinterlands, me encontré con esta de "Sacred Unicorn", la cual me hizo recordar unos tres años atrás cuando dibuje el personaje para participar en el concurso. Ahora lo vuelvo a hacer para compartirlo en la comunidad y en el Social Media Challenge de esta semana.
I started making the sketch in my traditional sketchbook, since it was more comfortable that way. Once I had the sketch, what I did was to take a picture of it with my cell phone and then transfer it to my computer and then open Clip Studio Paint and start defining and detailing the sketch in digital.
Comencé haciendo el boceto en mi block en tradicional, ya que se me hizo mas cómodo de esa manera. Una vez que tuve el boceto, lo que hice fue tomarle una foto con mi celular y luego la pase a mi computadora para luego abrir el Clip Studio Paint y comenzar a definir y detallar en boceto en digital.

Once I had the sketch well defined, what I did next was to start adding color throughout the drawing. I took as a color reference, the color palette of the original character. The truth is that it was not much work to add the color, since there were only three in total.
Una vez tuve el boceto bien definido, lo que hice después fue comenzar a agregar el color en todo el dibujo. Tomo como referencia de color, la paleta de color del personaje original. La verdad que no fue mucho trabajo agregar el color, puesto a que solo fueron tres en total.

I add the shadows and lights before I go to detail the whole illustration, since it is easy for me to work in this way. Once I have worked well on the shadows and lights, I go to detail the drawing super well. I add line art in certain areas, just to define a little.
Agrego las sombras y luces antes de irme a detallar toda la ilustración, ya que para mi es las fácil trabajar de esta manera las mismas. Una vez que he trabajado bien las sombras y las luces, me voy a detallar el dibujo super bien. Agrego line art en ciertas zonas, solo para definir un poco.

Finally what I do is to add the glows and the background. My backgrounds are always unicolor, so I looked for a color that matched the character and that's it folks, that would be it.
Por ultimo lo que hago es agregar los brillos y el fondo. Mis fondos siempre son unicolor, así que busque un color que hiciera juego con el personaje y listo amigos, eso seria todo.
