The Ettin are a tribe of mutated primitives in the Burning Lands. Many of them have two heads, an extra limb or an inexplicable tail, but they are all freakishly strong. Hello HiveBlog people! Today I come with a new entry for the @Splinterlands art contest and to make the entry, I took as reference the card of the game Ettin Spearman, which if I remember correctly is one of the first cards of the game. My version I wanted to make it female, since the original is male, so it was the only change I made for my drawing, since everything else is the same, or so I want to think.

El día de hoy vengo con una nueva participacion para el concurso de arte de @Splinterlands y para hacer la participacion, tome como referencia la carta del juego Ettin Spearman, la cual si mal no recuerdo es una de las primeras cartas del juego. Mi versión la quise hacer femenina, ya que el original es masculino, así que fue el único cambio que hice para mi dibujo, ya que todo lo demás es igual, o eso quiero pensar.
To start making my drawing, I took the original illustration as a reference to make the sketch, since it will be based on it. I knew that I wanted to make the drawing a little different from the original, so I changed the heads of the drawing, making them feminine, since I concentrated only on making the character of the face, or well in this case of the faces, because there are two of them.
Para comenzar a hacer mi dibujo, tome como referencia la ilustración original para hacer el boceto, ya que de él estará basado. Sabia que quería hacer el dibujo de forma un tanto diferente al original, así que cambie las cabezas del mismo, haciéndolas femeninas, ya que me concentre solo en hacer el personaje solo del rostro, o bueno en este caso de los rostros, porque son dos.

As I was only drawing the faces, it didn't take me much time to get the sketch ready, but I wanted to give a little difference between each head, so they wouldn't be so similar, so I made each head a little different. Then I went to work the color in the whole drawing, taking as reference the color palette of the original character. I must say that this color palette was very simple, because the drawing didn't really require so much color, so it was very easy to work with.
Como solo fue dibujar los rostros, no me tomo mucho tiempo en tener listo el boceto la verdad, pero si quise darle al mismo una pequeña diferencia entre cada cabeza, para que no fuesen tan parecidas, así que hice cada cabeza un poco diferente. Luego me fui a trabajar el color en todo el dibujo, tomando como referencia la paleta de color del personaje original. Debo decir que esta paleta de color estuvo muy sencilla, porque realmente el dibujo no requería tanto color la verdad, así que fue muy fácil trabajar.

Then I went to the details and for this drawing in particular, I went fully with the linear in the whole drawing. I added shadows in some areas and worked with wood colors in the eyes, mouths and noses of the heads, to enhance the color even more. Then I went to make the details of the shines in the hair and some parts of the face in both heads, culminating this drawing with my signature and that would be it, that would be all.
Luego me fui a los detalles y para este dibujo en concreto, me fui de lleno con el linear en todo el dibujo. Agregue sombras en algunas zonas y trabaje con colores de madera los ojos, bocas y narices de las cabezas, para así realzar el color aun más. Después me fui a hacer los detalles de los brillos en el pelo y algunas partes del rostro en ambas cabezas, culminando este dibujo con mi firma y listo, eso seria todo.
