The village folk always say that Tarsa was born with fire in her blood, and that is true in many ways. Her burning rage and quick temper are amplified by her powers to summon and control fire. While her parents and teachers tried to instill patience for such dangerous magic, Tarsa had little time for that. She used her abilities to bully and threaten those that got in her way.
Her young and innocent-looking appearance only helped her to further manipulate people around her. “Tarsa always gets what Tarsa wants” is what she says to herself every time something or someone challenges her.

Hello beautiful people! I hope you're all doing great and if you're not, you will be soon! I made a new fan art of @splinterlands for the art contest. I know that this week apart from participating with some fan art of the characters, they took out a specific theme to participate, but the truth is, I just wanted to make my fan art of Tarsa hehehehe.
Hola gente bonita! Espero estén super bien todos y si no lo están, pronto lo estarán! Hice un nuevo fan art de @splinterlands para el concurso de arte. Se que esta semana a parte de participar con algún fan art de los personajes, sacaron un tema en especifico para participar, pero la verdad, yo solo quise hacer mi fan art de Tarsa jejeje.
To make my entry for the contest, I decided to do a frontal portrait of Tarsa, I've been doing a lot of drawings in different perspectives than just frontal and I missed that a little bit. So I started doing the sketch, structuring the character. This time I didn't want to take a picture of myself or look for a pose on Pinterest to help me structure the sketch, I just went with my intuition.
Para hacer mi entrada para el concurso, decidí hacer un retrato de frente de Tarsa, la verdad he estado haciendo muchos dibujos en perspectivas diferentes a solo hacerlos de frente y extrañaba un poco eso. Así que comencé haciendo el boceto, estructurando al personaje. Esta vez no quise tomarme una foto a mi mismo o buscar alguna pose en Pinterest que me ayudara a estructurar el boceto, solo lo hice a mi intuición.

After having made the dirty sketch, I add a new layer and start to clean everything, making a first basic line art in gray and then I make another one in black, which would be the definitive one, but I leave both to make contrast in itself. Then I start to add all the color, starting first with the base colors for each area of the character.
Luego de haber hecho el boceto sucio, agrego una nueva capa y comienzo a limpiar todo, haciendo un primer line art básico en gris y luego hago otro en negro, que este seria el definitivo, pero dejo ambos para que hagan contraste en sí. Seguidamente comienzo a agregar todo el color, comenzando primeramente con los colores base para cada zona del personaje.

Once I have all the color added in the illustration, I start detailing everything step by step. Where I start to detail what are the shadows and redness, is in the face, I love to make the details in the face and it is certainly one of my favorite areas to paint. After the face, I continue with the hair and with the details of light in the hands, making illusion to the fire.
Una vez que tengo todo el color agregado en la ilustración, comienzo a detallar todo paso a paso. Donde comienzo a detallar lo que son las sombras y rojeces, es en la cara, me encanta hacer los detalles en el rostro y sin duda es una de mis zonas favoritas para pintar. Luego del rostro, sigo con el cabello y con los detalles de luz en las manos, haciendo ilusión al fuego.

The last thing I do is to make the background, adding a base color and some shadows. And finally I finish the illustration with the final details in the whole drawing, such as the shines that I add in the hair and in the background and that's it folks, that would be all.
Lo ultimo que hago es hacer el fondo, agregando un color base y algunas sombras. Y finalmente termino la ilustración con los detalles finales en todo el dibujo, como lo son los brillos que agrego en el cabello y en el fondo y listo amigos, eso seria todo.
