Carabao cup Review

The English football league cup commonly knows as The Carabao cup is contested between 92 clubs from the premier league, championship, league one and league two.

The winner receives £100,000 Prize money and the runner up gets £50,000.

This week ended with teams advancing to the Quarterfinals and here is how it recapped,

Arsenal vs Leeds

In form arsenal won by a two goal advantage to advance to the Quarterfinals,

Second half substitute calum chambers scored seconds after his entry, Nicolas Pepe kept the ball in play after A Smith Rowe's corner and headed in.

Champions league winners chelsea advanced to the quarterfinals through knocking out the saints on penalty,

Kai havertz opened the scoring for the blues but che Adams equalized minutes after the break.

The blues won 4-3 on penalty as Kepa arrizabalaga came through.

It won a penalty shootout of 1-3 in their favour.

Burnley vs Tottenham

Burnley hosted Tottenham at turf moor.

Lucas moura gave Tottenham the win in the second half.

Leicester vs Brighton hove albion

Harvey barnes got Leicester off the mark early on as Adam webster equalized with half time nearing.
