RE: DEC vs SPS - why two tokens?

The best for Splinterlands is to have a strong token, so it can attract more users. The internet was taken by storm with several NFT play to earn games, growing day by daym so the competition is becoming harder. With only DEC as the main currency, that you could stake if you wanted, it would surely rise in price if it had this functionality and could redeem vouchers. Instead, we are presented to a new token. Its a lose-lose situation, as both tokens get their use diluted.
