Scholar's Obligations and Things That are Prohibited From Doing
In the Splinterlands game, the scholar system gives new players the opportunity to play this game without too large an investment.
With this system, players can first focus on learning this game so that they are proficient enough without having to think about rental fees/costs of buying cards.
Of course, because with this scholar system, we get card loans from other people/investors, there are important things that scholars can and cannot do.
to ensure fairness for scholars and investors, as well as making it easier for managers to manage scholars in accordance with investors' wishes.
Several things you need to pay attention to when becoming a scholar:
Scholar's initial agreement.
What we have to do:
Here the manager will discuss the distribution of results, terms of playing time, and also what kind of win rate/performance is expected when we play.
Ask as clearly as possible about things that are considered unclear. Answer as honestly as possible, if you don't feel sure you can do it, answer with I will try my best. Even if we may have difficulties due to language differences (not good English), if initially the communication may take place via voice and we have difficulty understanding, we can ask our manager to
Change the type of communication via chat so that we can use Google Translate to make communication easier.
What not to do:
When we don't understand the contents of a scholarly agreement, don't try to guess and do something based on our assumptions.Strive continuously to achieve the goals that have been set consistently:
What we have to do:
Improve our playing skills and you can also buy good cards that are not provided by scholars. Achieving the goals that have been set, will also increase our income and make us better known at the manager and investor level, so that if we are given more opportunities, maybe we can get them, for example, if we achieve targets continuously, we can be loaned certain good cards,
What we should not do:
Neglecting our obligations, such as leaving energy at 50 and not playing or not participating in brawl even though we have registered as a team in brawl, etc. Make sure we always give our best when playing.Always try to communicate with our manager.
What we have to do:
When our manager informs us about something on Discord or asks for our opinion as scholars, we always actively respons, even though it may only be in the form of emoticons.
When we have difficulty playing because we are on holiday, we notify our manager in advance via Discord or Direct Message (DM). Managers respect and trust people who actively communicate and probably won't mind if one day we can't play for several days.
What we shouldn't do :
Never checking Discord, ignoring messages/announcements from managers on Discord, and even worse, because never checking announcements we do something the opposite of what is said. Actively check discord/other designated communication places, because this is our obligation as scholars.
Some Rule in My Balthazar Scholar
I am a scholar at the Balthazar guild, I have been a scholar for almost 2 years. This is an example of the real rules that exist in my scholarship :
- If we are involved in the brawl and we forget or don't have time to battle, then next 2 seasons we will no longer be involved in the brawl.
- Have a win rate of 50% or greater, so it can provide a good income.
- You can only open reward cards (common, rare, epic, and legendary) up to batch 1 each season.
- At the End of the Season we must at least reach the Diamond I League.
- If we want to rent cards, make sure we have created the set of cards we want in My Decks using Peakmonsterand also transfer enough Decs to our scholar account.
Note :
Some rules have been changed due to the low crypto price thought.
