~ 😘 Hi Hi Splinterlands lovers around the world 😘 ~
Welcome back to my blog,
@queen-silvia. So started from today, I am going to pick up the top 5 strategies of my participation in tournaments. Either from Gold, Silver or maybe Bronze. Those strategies could come from me or my opponents. I do hope that all of them can be useful for the community. Making some notes on those strategies is very important since we can use the same tactic or maybe modify it a bit depending on the mana and rulesets. In this first chapter, I am gonna share the gold league strategies, Let's get start it !
The strategies that we are going to discuss are mentioned below :
- Llama-Kron vs Llama Gelatinous Cube, Who's stronger?
- How Strong Jared Scar in Super Sneak Ruleset?
- How to build Ultimate defence using Kraken
- How Strong Undead Priest and Cursed Slimeball in small mana battle?
- How to counter magic attack perfectly
We will also have a Chaos Legion card giveaway #45 and The Announcement of Giveaway #43 at the end of the post so feel free to join. Wish you luck guys 😘
- LLAMA-KRON VS LLAMA-GELATINOUS CUBE -
Okay the first strategy that we will discuss is Which one is stronger between Llama-Kron and Llama-Gelatinous Cube. For those of you who never heard or use Gelatinous Cube, This monster is a perfect card to be used in deadly ruleset like Noxious Fumes or Earthquake. As his base health point increased (due to scavenger ability) the amount of HP restored in each round will be increased also. For example, let say in the beginning of match, your gelatinous cube has 6 HP, so the heal ability will restore 2 HP in each round. However due to the scavenger ability, let say your Gelatinous Cube's base health increased to 15 HP, so the heal ability will restore 5 HP in each round. Scarred Llama Mage will increase the HP a lot more and also increase the HP restored in each round. The battle below will show us how strong Llama-Gelatinous is :
Ruleset | Mana | Element |
Close Range, Noxious Fumes | 30 | Life, Earth, Death |
BATTLE LINK
This is the beginning of the match. My opponent was
@noisme and his strategy works very well. He put lots of monsters who have heal ability like Earth Elemental and Pelacor Mercenary. He was also putting Wood Nymph to restore Tank Monster HP and increase all of the friendly monster's HP in each round. The last ability that he put was scavenger, the ability to gain 1 base HP whenever a monster either opponent or friendly died in the battle field. Screeching Vulture and Gelatinous Cubes are the example. They could survive for a long round in this ruleset.
And this is how the last round of the battle looks like. As the base Health point of gelatinous Cube is 36, he can restore up to 12 HP in each round while my Kron is just restoring 6 HP only. Due to the fatigue effect which is increasing in each round, -1, -2, -3, -4, etc, My Kron can't bear the damage more than 6 and thus he died earlier. the gelatinous Cubes still stand strong as he could restore up to 12 HP in each round. Very amazing battle, thank you
@noisme.
- HOW STRONG JARED SCAR IN SUPER SNEAK RULESET? -
Well, Actually Jared is very strong where the ruleset allows all melee monsters to attack in any position. For Example : Super Sneak, Opportunity and Melee Mayhem. At Gold Level, Jared Scar has True Strike ability, this will make his attack never miss. I have to admit that true strike is one of the best ability in Splinterlands. The Only summoner who gives True Strike ability is Byzantine Kitty which all players think that the only way to counter Byzantine Kitty is using Byzantine Kitty as well 🤣. Okay, Back to Jared Scar, Below match will show you how strong Jared Scar in Super Sneak, Rule Set :
Ruleset | Mana | Element |
Close Range, Super Sneak | 13 | Life, Water |
BATTLE LINK
Okay This is my match against
@awokado, a player from Summoner's Tribe guild. If we are looking at his line-up, he intentionally put furious chicken as a sacrifice towards sneak monsters. The same reason for Soul Fiend. As both monsters cost are just 0 mana. some other monsters he put were Silvershield Bard and Creeping Ooze. The purpose of those monsters are to reduce my monster speed and increase their speed. It's pretty important to have higher speed in small mana. And... the main monster in my opponent team is Jared Scar who has 6 melee attack, 3 speed, Piercing ability and True Strike. Such a monstrous strength that he can easily kill every monster with that power.
This is the final result of the battle, Jared Scar murdered all of my monsters one by one from the backline. He gained +1 in all stats every time he killed a monster due to bloodlust ability. At the end of the batte he has 11 Melee attack, 8 speed, 7 armour and 10 HP. One this which is also interested to see is chaos agent. With his 5 speed, Phase and dodge ability, He is untouchable. Not even a single damage can hurt him in the battle thanks to Silvershield bard and Creeping Ooze.
- ULTIMATE DEFENCE USING KRAKEN -
In order to win the battle, we need to build a team who has great attack but also we need to think about the defence as well. I have to say, Kraken is the master of defence, Along with some tank healers and cleanse monsters, He can be used to build ultimate defence which can withstand any kind of attack. I think the only counter for this strategy is using Jacek as all monsters will not going to attack monsters with taunt ability. Okay, How to build ultimate defence with Kraken? Check out the below match :
Ruleset | Mana | Element |
Stampede, Taking Sides | 29 | Earth, Water, Death, Dragon
BATTLE LINK
This is the match when I was fighting against
@vugtis, a Shield of Glory member, the alliance of Kingdom of Glory. I like his strategy when he put Lv.3 Kraken as the tank monster. He has demoralize ability which can reduce all of the enemy's melee attack. he also has enrage ability which can increase melee and speed significantly. He used bortus to reduce all of the magice damage by 1. the reason why his line up is ultimate defence is because he used 2 tank healer (Albatross and Merdaali Guardian), 1 repair (Also Merdaali Guardian) and cleanse (Kelp Intiate). Kelp has very important role to negate affliction so the healer can still work to restore Kraken HP in each round.
This is a flawless victory. I can't even make a scratch to
@vugtis monster. Pretty awesome line up. Aside of Kraken, he also used Deeplurker who has 5 melee attack and poison who is one of the best opportunity monsters in Splinterlands. Ice Pixie has no big impact in this battle since I used Baakjira to negate enemies attack. If we are using Jacek against this lineup, we could attack the tank healer in the backline so no healer for Kraken and there's a chance to kill that tank monster.
- UNDEAD PRIEST AND CURSED SLIMEBALL IN SMALL MANA -
Alright, the next strategy that we will discuss is Undead priest and Cursed Slimeball in small mana. In small mana, Players tend to use monsters with small mana as well, which means that the health point of all of those monsters are pretty low. This condition makes Undead Priest and Cursed Slimeball is the perfect monsters to be used as Undead Priest will reduce all of the enemies health point by -1 and redemption ability by Cursed Slimeball will reduce all of the enemies health point by 1. Here is the battle to show how strong they are in small mana battle :
Ruleset | Mana | Element |
Unprotected, Fire and Regret | 19 | Fire, Water, Life, Death, Dragon
BATTLE LINK
The fight was showing my battle against
@matt-dub, just like awokado, a member of Summoner's Tribe. He used Crypt Mencer who reduced melee attack by -1. In small mana where earth is unavailable, most of players will use melee monsters and it's a very good decision to choose summoners who can reduce melee attack like Cryptmancer, Camila Sungazer and Zintar Mortalis. In the match, My monsters have lower speed so they got killed quickly. He intentionally put Cursed Slimeball in the back most to activate redemption ability. Very good strategy.
This is the end of round one. Death sneak monsters are very fast. They have at least 5 speed and the Crypt Mancer makes it "faster" by slowing their enemy down. The decision to put Shadowy presence is very good since the attack focus is in the back most of opponent monster not the first position of opponent monsters. Good job for the win, thank you for the battle.
- HOW TO COUNTER MAGIC ATTACK PERFECTLY -
Basically, Grandmaster Rathe is the perfect summoner to be used as a magic counter since he is giving amplify and Void armor ability. The amplify will incresed the damage reflected and void armor will be a perfect defence to hold magic damage, instead of reducing health, the magic will damage the armour. the point is we need to use monster with protect ability and repair. That kind of defence would be enough to hold the magic attack. Here is the battle to show how to counter magic attack perfectly :
Ruleset | Mana | Element |
Fog of War, Healed Out | 99 | Life, Water, Dragon |
BATTLE LINK
My opponent was
@grand.high.witch, a player from immortal gods guild. He guessed my attack correctly. I order to counter my magic attack, he used Lord Arianthus who has void and magic reflect ability in the first position and Prismatic Energy in the second position who has magic reflect as well. he used two monsters who have resurrect ability, they are High Priest Darius and Adelide Brightwing. Both monsters can bring back Lord Arianthus or Prismatic Energy if they died in the battle field. For the defence purposes, Adelide Brightwing have repair ability and Silvershield Sheriff provides protect ability.
Lord Arianthus and Prismatic Energy has important roles to counter magic attack and killed all of my magic monsters. the combination between GM Rathe and magic reflect against magic monsters is so deadly. Adelade Brightwing also works very well to repair the tank monster's armour whenever it's broken due to my magic attack. This is a cool strategy to counter magic attack. I don't know why I was so aggressive in this tournament without anticipating my opponent movement, ha ha ha.
