Why Pelacor Conjurer is an undervalued card?
I’ve been playing Splinterlands for over a year now and I am still excited with the current development of this game. Lately the price of cards decreased and I think Pelacor Conjurer is one of the most undervalued cards right now. It is now trading at $0.012 and I’ve been collecting multiple copies of this card ever since.
The image shown below are the abilities of Pelacor Conjurer at different level. It has a flying ability at level 1, an additional magic reflect ability at level 4, an additional divine shield ability at level 7 and a phase ability at level 10.
Listed below are the reasons why I think this card is undervalued and some of the strategies that you can use for this card.
Pelacor Conjurer is only a two mana card so you can use it in low mana matches or little league ruleset.
Pelacor Conjurer has a flying ability at level one which means that you can use it at an earthquake ruleset. It can also dodge the attack of an enemy monster without flying ability.
It has a magic reflect ability at level four which you can use against those players who loves to play with magic. Nowadays, a lot of players uses magic ability and this card is a great counter to them. You can pair it with amplify monsters such as Dax Paragon or Venari Spellsmith to maximize the effect of magic reflect.
It has a divine shield at level seven which means that the first attack of your enemy monster will be ignored. This ability is useful because of the assurance that Pelacor Conjurer won’t be killed by any monster at the first attack.
It has a phase ability that even monsters with magic ability can miss this monster. You can pair it with speed boost monsters or a summoner like Byzantine Kitty so that it can increase the chance of dodging the magic of your enemy monsters.
I frequently use this card as a tank because it can miss all kinds of attacks at the diamond league especially if you paired it with speed boost monsters such as the Soul Fiend, Supply Runner, or Naga Assassin. And with the addition of healers like Venari Crystalsmith, your enemy monsters will have a hard time to go through this card.
The summoner Grandmaster Rathe can amplify its magic ability and it will have a void armor ability. At the diamond league, your enemy monster should attack twice just to damage the health of this monster because they have to go through the armor first and the divine shield ability.
