Balancing Blogging and Earning From Splinterlands

Blogging on Hive is really exciting, I love it because lately it has given me a sense of purpose and I love it. I remember when @onwugbenuvictor and I will call each other on the phone and talk about how we wished we found a platform that we love and we can be earning from it. This is because we have been friends for a very long time and we have risked a lot of our time and money investing in things that never paid off.

😀 don’t blame us for burying our lives and time on Hive, we have been through worse experiences together, Hive feels so much like heaven.

The beauty about Hive is that you don’t know how good of a writer you are till you start writing. I was also talking to @winniecorp on the phone (I like to check up on people I introduce into Hive to make sure they are adapting really well) yesterday and she told me how she is beginning to love Hive so much. She said something that really made me feel good. She said she never knew how good it felt to write until she joined Hive. I could relate because this how I feel right now. Writing makes me feel like I have a good complete day.

So it’s hard no to blog, am sure my mobile phone is tired of me by now because am over working the phone, blogging, playing splinterlands, engaging, watching movies, designing and all.

Don’t worry phone, I will buy a laptop soon and I will give you some breathing space. You deserve it.

Blogging is now part of me so much, I think am addicted to blogging right now. Lately I have been playing splinterlands a lot and trust me when you start understanding the game properly by learning you will also get addicted. Playing the game is so exciting, I enjoy playing, but in as much as I love playing the game, losing gets really boring and intimidating. I have been losing for a while now, and whenever I lose a lot, I take some break off splinterlands to re-strategize.

Few days I rented some cards so I could win a quest. I did and it was really exciting to win those battles. So it gave me the idea that all I needed to win on splinterlands was just get good cards and hope that my opponent’s card is weaker than mine. But I was corrected that I needed good cards and great strategy. I tried the good strategy few times and it really worked.

Correction taken, you don’t just wish for your opponent’s cards to be weaker thank yours, you also need a very good strategy.

Blogging on Hive and doing some online stuff I only have like an hour to spend on Splinterlands. During that one hour of game play, I lose a lot, so I have decided to dedicate my time to blog so I can make enough money on Hive.

Why Am I Going To Focus More On Bloggin?

I will focus on blogging more so as to raise enough capital to invest on splinterlands. I will convert some of my earnings on Hive to DEC. I will use this DEC to buy more valued cards especially summoners. Thanks to @mistakili , @burlarj and @l337m45732 (I really need to look for a way to remember this username bro) they explained to me the importance of my summoners and also leveling it.

I noticed that some of my cards with a level higher than my summoners card can’t be summoned by my summoners, that’s the reason I get a caution ⚠️ on the card. Now I know. We keep learning every day.

My splinterland goal for this week is to buy as much cards as possible and level my summoners. I want to be able to complete at least two quests a day. I use 2 hours of my time a day and win these quests then feel accomplished for that day and we move to the next day.

Buy some cards, level them and put them out for rent to get some passive daily DEC. This way am able to acquire more DEC, rent more cards, play more battles and win more battles. Days when I don’t get the chance to play splinterlands, I will earn DEC because my cards were rented out.

To start, I just bought some cards I will be renting out, to get passive income. I have decided to dedicate each week for each color. Next week I will be buying cards of the Life color.

Interesting strategy and why not all of the above! :)

Splinterlands just had a huge run, but all runs have a pause.

Good to keep stacking! Splinterlands will run again.

This is really paramount if you want to develop your gameplay in Splinterlands. Summoners are the key to success or failure. I've just made a video about what strategy to follow regarding that if you are interested.

I believe that the fact that Splinterlands is connected to hive and that you can actually earn money blogging, is so amazing. If you like blogging, you will be able to finance your game :-)

I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project and it will be highlighted in the next post! Comment Footer.jpg

This is so inspiring. But wait, what the heck is oneup? Is that an hive engine token too?

By the Way, hive is addicting I must say, you can't stop the moment you start and it is happening to all of us

I am happy to know that you have learned a lot as a result of playing Splinterlands and coming with new strategies as the day goes on

It's great you have good tutors too. They are your stepping stones to becoming a great gamer.

Cheers to all your exploits and more.
