Battles in the Arena...

I was playing in the Silver league today and not many opponents were coming at me with heavy artilleries. But there were couple of battles which made me think twice before submitting my battles. As watching the previous battle history of the opponents made me to change my actions. Here are two battles which were sort of interesting to me among the other battles that I have fought today!

Rules : Silenced Summoner & Born Again

Active: Fire Splinter only

Since Fire Splinter is active and I have 34 mana to spare, I decided to go all in with Melee attack and have some Magic attack at defense. In addition since we have born again rule set I decided to go out with Venari Marksrart. Such a coincidence my opponent was probably thinking the same. Which is why, we both decided to use this arrogant card as tank.

Lets begin the battle. I watched the battles twice to see what was actually going on. Before the battle my initial thought was my monster at second position Antoid Platoon would get twice an increase on its health and other attributes due to Venari. Which worked perfectly in this scenario. In next position I selected TENYII striker due to its ability of sneak. As I somehow was trying to take my opponents from the back. Which is why I arranged my monsters in such a way that they would attack my opponenet from front and the back at once. Which is why I took the next monster at hand. Technowizologist Yeah pretty chunky name indeed. But it is a life savor when it comes to Stunning the opponent and in addition leaving the oppoenent with two magic attack. Perfect for this position. Not to forget about magi of Chaos with its ability of 4 magic attack it sure would be fatal monsters to the opponent. Leaving ureaus at the back. I was not expecting my opponent would also attack me from behind. But seems like the shield of this monster helped a little during the battle.

Overall, my plan was to take out my opponent from both front and back at the same time. And since Born again rule was a double edged sword for us both in the match. Few wrong moves from us both would have changed the course of the game.

Few mistakes, while playing!

This is one of the battles that I have done few mistakes. The very first mistake that I did was using magic attacks even though I was seeing the ruleset saying against this decision. Even though I wanted to go full throttle in this battle. As upon seeing the previous battles of my opponent, I did not want to take any rash decisions. Which is why I wanted to make as much damage as possible by getting the return hit from my opponent. Which is why choosing Nerissa was the best option available at hand. With its health and attack it would survive few rounds that was the target. And same goes for magi of Chaos!

Although, I had far better options at my hand in this scenario. But it was really worth it! As I was sort of excited to see how the battle would eventually turn out in this regard! Above all, I am enjoying playing the game like I used to in the past. That is what matters. Even more exciting is that the new changes are making players excited and as a player I am now dedicated to play this game. Hopefully the incentives are going to be as exciting as i am as of now in the coming days.
