Splinterlands On going updates.....

There has been numerous updates happening in Splinterlands for the last couple of days. Some of these updates have been overwhelming and some of them are going to arrive in the coming days. Almost every one of them is going to be worthwhile for the game and they will play a major role for the whole of Splinterlands game.

Lets take a peak to some recent updates and do some research on our own.

SPS Governance Proposal

Hire Splinterlands to Develop the Next Major Card Set - Conclave Arcana

A new proposal is up for Splinterlands players/ SPS stakers. This is one of the most important updates regarding a new set of cards which is going to be made by the team. Which requires Splinterlands SPS staked users to vote upon. This will decide whether the DAO will hire Splinterlands team to make this set or not. As there are detailed information regarding this upcoming proposal.

Some major points to note regarding this proposal

• This new set will include :
  Booster Packs
Conclave Arcana Packs
Legendary Packs
Alchemist Packs
  A Major set upgrade is going to introduced out in new edition of cards. Also three new additional sets, with different price range will probably bring in more audience/buyers into the game. While, I do like how it is designed for the time being and if you notice the proposal there will some modifications regarding the burning mechanism as well (if the remaining packs gets unsold). This way the DAO will get a benefit as well.

• The company is asking for 600M DEC tokens paid upfront upon the approval of this proposal to cover the development, release, and operation costs of the set, as well as a 50% revenue share on all packs sold, also paid in DEC tokens.

5 New Rule Sets have been Introduced

Prior to the second update, we have 5 new rulesets which have been introduced.

• Heavy Metal - You can only summon armored units.
• Might Makes Right - You can only summon units with 3 or more ranged, magic, or melee power.
• Need for Speed - You can only summon units with 3 or more speed.
• Deflection Field - All units have the Reflection Shield ability.
• Beefcakes - You can only summon units with 5 or more health.

Some of the above rules will change the game in an entire way. Although, the players are going to get little bit confused for the first few days but this will allow them to find out different strategy based on different situation in the battle. I am sort of excited to see what it is going to happen when these following rules are going to be faced in the battles.

If you are playing Splinterlands game and if you not posting contents regarding Splinterlands on HIVE than you are missing most of the fun. As Splinterlands has become much bigger when it comes to curation. As many Splinterlands content creator must have noticed when Steemmonsters account is curating their contents a trail of accounts are following them. Which is helping in getting bigger Upvote, hence it not only the users but the Splinterlands accounts are also growing along with HIVE users. Which is why I do suggest everyone who is playing the game, you may share your opinion, strategy and POV regarding the game and if your content is worthwhile you may receive support from Splinterlands. Also your content, your POV, Your strategy will help others if it is laid down in a post. Hence a good communication will happen for us all.


Like I said many new things are coming into Splinterlands. Which is why I am sort of excited and waiting for something good to happen to us all.
