My wife and I, we both Splinters!

Hi everyone,

It's great and fun to have your partner in crime also loves playing the same thing you do, and that is Splinterlands.

Well, to tell you the truth, initially she was really reluctant and didn't want to play Splinterlands as it might effect her work schedule. Hence, I told her, Splinterlands is a simple yet fun card game to play with. In addition, the game play is fast which anyone can play even while working. A player will only have to spend 2 - 3 minutes and even lesser once used to it.

And OMG, after getting her on-board like 2 days ago, she has been playing non-stop. Her battle is reaching around 200 and of course for beginners, a lot of losses gained. With losses, comes experience and more wiser in the next battle to come. She even managed getting her first 5 reward from the last season and 2 reward from daily quest.

While we both are still on an alternate WFH schedule, here I am, sitting next to her to continue teaching her the awesomeness of Splinterlands.

But honestly speaking, she is getting good with the battles, but I have yet to revealed her other cool things Splinterlands has to offer like buying a card just by using the DEC rewards she win or renting cards using that DEC to increase the diversity of her cards and a lot more.

I am also excited to have managed to on-board my eldest buddy weeks ago and he still played them. He even got his first season reward and managed to score a rare card.

Guess who is next I want to get on-board? My 11 year old daughter, real soon.

I also joined splinter after I landed here at Hive. With my fear in writing, I was thinking of merging to gaming, and Splinterslands is the game I am eyeing. My partner and my son are into gaming, I bought the spellbook to start and learn the game. Yes, too many losses, at first haha. Then I found some good cards, a favorite team of mine that I used to win the battles. Unfortunately, my son and my partner found it hard to play. I stop for a while because I've been busy as well and also found some good content that Incan share with the Hivers. I might be back if there will be some extra time and not that busy. Looking forward also to earning Dec and SPS. Hello to you and wifey by the way 🤗

I am 100% confident that you will be back soon!

It was really hard at first to convince them, but constant sharing between each other and delegating stronger cards to them seems to do the trick.

All the best to you buddy!

Yes, I'm planning to be back. And a friend who introduces me here in Hive will lend some cards too 😅. I lose hope with all the losses, but I will be back stronger. 🤞

If register using Splinterlands, no need bro. Unless wants to connect with Hive, then can request via Splinterlands.

So the rewards now it's all by their own token is it?

They still run on Hive. The rewards after winning is either potion, DEC, Credit or Cards which actually from Hive Engine.

But, Splinterlands just giving options to players to connect with Hive or not.

This is good, so that new players can focus on only playing games without having to post on Hive.

Anyway, Splinterlands do have their own blog platform, Splintertalk which rewards token, SPT
