ARMORED UP | BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge!

Welcome back to the atmosphere of the new year 2024. This is the first BATTLE MAGE SECRETS challenge of the year, and I will discuss one of the fighting rules in Splinterlands, ARMORED UP.

Those of you who play Splinterlands can participate in the BATTLE MAGE SECRETS challenge, which is held every week.

We will go over several aspects of the fight's rules. Where we must comprehend the rules of ARMORED-UP battles to gain an advantage from them.

ARMORED UP

If you see this logo in your fight, there are a few things you should be aware of.

• At the start of this fight, all monsters will receive 2 shield bonus points.
• Because the shield bonus reduces the effectiveness of melee and ranged monster attacks, magic monster attacks are the most effective.
• If you use a monster with the VOID ARMOR ability, the shield bonus will protect you from magical attacks until it is destroyed.
• Use monsters with the repair shield ability to repair damaged shields.
• Use summoners that remove shield bonus abilities, such as shatter, or summoners that destroy shields. Summoners who increase the attack power of magical monsters or decrease the attack power of magical monsters are options. Remember that magical attacks are popular in the ARMORED UP ruleset.
• To destroy the opponent's monster shield, use monsters with shattering or piercing abilities.

Aside from the aforementioned, pay attention to other battle rules to ensure they are consistent with the ARMORED-UP rules in your battle.

RULES AND TACTICS

Three fighting rules apply in this fight. ARMORED UP grants 2 shield points to all monsters, HEALED OUT grants no healing ability, and EVEN STEVENS grants access to only monsters with even mana.

I used the Fire element Summoner, specifically NOMOS, by selecting magic attack reduction on two opponent monsters. However, it was discovered that the opponent's monster formation did not include any magical beasts in the last two rows. As a result, the summoner's abilities are ineffective in this battle.

I launched NIMBLEDOOK SCOUT into the fray with the Backfire ability. I hope that the opponent's monster attack will fail and I will be able to counterattack with the backfire ability. PALLUS comes in second place with his Reachability. PALLUS has 7 health points and can delay the opponent's monster's magical attacks for 2 rounds. I also used KRASH WANDERFORD, who has bloodlust abilities that I boosted with MOXIAN REBEL's magic attacks. Following that is INFERNAL FIRESTORM, which has two magical attacks, and KHAZI FIRE MAGE, which has scattershot magic attacks. I primarily use monsters with magical attacks that can penetrate the enemy's shields with this formation.

Meanwhile, the opposing formation relies on ranged attacks and only has one monster with magical attacks. With GRIMBARDUN SMITH as the tank in command. CHAOS BEAR GUARD with Shield power. With his speed and long-range snipe attacks, MAR TOREN SEEKER. ANASTH SOOTSAYER with Cleanse abilities and magical attacks. Gladius EDITH EMBERSTAR has four arrow attack points, and CHAOS LACKEY has the Dispel ability.

Each team drains health points from the opponent's tank monster in the first round. My monster struck GRIMBARDUN SMITH with a magical attack. So his shield was almost useless in defending against my team's attacks. The NIMBLEDOOK SCOUT shield, on the other hand, is useful for blocking enemy melee and ranged attacks.

The PALLUS shield successfully blocked EDITH EMBERSTAR's attack in the second round. While the CHAOS BEAR GUARD has a shield, it is vulnerable to magical attacks.

PALLUS was knocked out in the third round. KRASH WANDERFORD's quickness allowed him to avoid the enemy's attacks.

The fourth round has begun. TOREN SEEKER was knocked out. EDITH EMBERSTAR's attack against KRASH WANDERFORD fails once more.

EDITH EMBERSTAR, despite having high stats because her bloodlust skill is active, is helpless in the fifth round because she is in the lead position.

In the sixth round, my magic monster's attacks continued to drain the opponent's monster's remaining health points. Victory was finally on my side.

FINAL THOUGHTS

The opponent in this fight did not pay close attention to the rules of the fight. Because the dominant monsters sent are arrow-wielding monsters. Of course, the shield bonus that all monsters receive in battle will make this difficult.

Aside from that, using monsters with magical attacks has proven to be very effective in draining the health points of the opponent's monster. Even though enemy monsters still have a shield, my magic monster's attack is powerful enough to finish off the opponent's monster. Aside from that, magic monsters can attack even if they are already in the lead. This is what distinguishes it from the enemy's arrow monsters. The opponent's archer monster does not move when the position is in front.

The shield repair ability cannot be demonstrated in this battle because I did not include monsters with the shield repair ability. However, with the effectiveness of magic attacks in this fight, I can win by utilizing the benefits of the fighting rules, namely ARMORED UP.
