UP TO ELEVEN | BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge!

The LAND feature is now available. How has the existence of LAND affected you in Splinterlands? While the action in LAND is still exciting, remember to keep honing your Splinterlands battle strategy.

The Splinterlands Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge's theme for this week is Up to Eleven. This rule is particularly special because it will make your monster skills more effective. We will go over this a ruleset and how to apply it to our advantage in Splinterlands battles in this post.

UP TO ELEVEN

In your battle, you should be aware of the following if you come across a logo similar to the one above:

1. The Amplify ability will be available to all monsters in combat. Specifically, the capacity to amp up the damage impact to monster abilities.
2. Because skills like magic reflect, return fire, and thorns generally deal normal damage, they will deal more damage in this fight than they would under normal circumstances.
3. Select a monster that returns damage to the one who attacked. One of the best strategies to win a fight is this.

Please remember that any additional rules that come with the Up To Eleven rules must be followed. This improves your odds of winning.

RULES AND TACTICS

The elements that can be used in this battle are water, earth, life, and dragon elements. The mana cap is 47 points.

Melee Mayhem is the applicable rule, aside from Up to Eleven. Monsters with melee attacks can attack from any position toward the opponent's tank monster in the leading position.

I decided to use an earth element monster with the spearhead on the QUORA TOWERSHEAD monster because of this combination of rules. and there is a monster with the Thorn ability among the monsters on the list that I selected. My goal is to use the amplified skill's effect to my advantage and obtain a significant counterattack advantage.

It appears that the enemy also decided to employ earth element monsters, and based on their choice of monster formation, it resembles the one I used quite a bit. Who will prevail in this fight, let's see.

Because he was in front in the first round, LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR was attacked by the opposition due to his thick shield. LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR was eliminated in the first round as a result of numerous attacks. On the other hand, the UNICORN MUSTANG, who was on the enemy side, was able to survive the first round by repeatedly dodging attacks.

The amplified effect helps VENARI KNIFER in the second round. The thorns on it began to lash out more. Unfortunately, though, the enemy's QUORA had to knock out VENARI KNIFER. It makes QUORA's combat stats higher and activates the bloodlust skill. The opponent's GRUND was able to evade the attack in this round as well.

In the third round, my opponent's GRUND was eliminated by my QUORA. QUORA combat stats are also raised by this. But, the adversary possesses a martyr monster that is also equipped with the BLIND skill. Perhaps this is the reason why the BLIND effect, which was bolstered by the amplify skill, caused some of my attacks to miss. The enemy now has higher QUORA combat stats as a result.

Round 4 features a duel between QUORA and QUORA. Based on the statistics and the number of remaining personnel, I may lose. MYCELIC MORPHOID will be unable to do anything in the next round due to the enemy's attacks and speed.

FINAL THOUGHTS

In this fight, I attempted to exploit the effect of increasing the strength of the thorn skill. With nearly the same monster combination, increasing the thorn effect can bring me victory. With the presence of the DISINTEGRATOR, the enemy uses melee strength reduction. Furthermore, the enemy's BLIND effect appears to be affecting the accuracy of my monster attacks.

On the other hand, increasing enemy statistics with the martyr skill increases the strength of the enemy monster. This is what caused the QUORA fight, which resulted in my QUORA losing and being eliminated.

I was defeated in this battle, but there are lessons to be learned. Pay special attention to the BLIND effect, which increases the enemy's chances of dodging attacks. And in the next battle, you must pay close attention to all skills that are affected by the Up to Eleven rule.
