Splinterlands End of Season Summary | Buying and Opening Draws & Chests | 4 Legendary Cards

Another great and very exciting season in Splinterlands has come to an end. I played in both Wild and Modern last season. While I played most of the season on Wild, I played on Modern for the last 3 days. I finished last season in the Champion III League in the Wild and in the Silver I League in the Modern. And I received 50,126 Glint tokens as a reward at the end of the season.

I'm still undecided whether I should continue playing in the Wild format or the Modern format. I actually decided to play in the Modern format a few days ago, but what I experienced on the last day of the season made me think that I should reconsider my decision. On the last day of last season the system only matched me with players with max level cards in the Silver I League and it is really hard to win against them and just being matched with them makes the game unplayable for me. If the Silver League is like this, I can't even imagine higher leagues. On the other hand, it does not make sense for me to buy a Wild Pass to play in the Wild format, but if my SPS stake reaches 100K in the future, I may consider purchasing a Wild Pass. To be honest, I'm very confused, let's see what my decision will be in the coming days.

And to try my luck, I bought 3 Legendary Draws and 10 Ultimate Chests and opened them, here's what I got from them.

Wow, I'm so lucky, I got some great legendary cards that I needed so much.

The Drybone Raider card was added to my deck for the first time, I've been wanting to get it for a long time and it's finally added to my deck. Drybone Raider will probably be one of the cards I will use the most, especially in the Shades of Gray ruleset.

I upgraded my Kulu Mastermind card, one of the cards I use the most, to level 3.

I also upgraded my Sorriel the Ballet Card to level 3. Until now, I was using the level 2 gold foil one, but today I upgraded the regular one to level 3. I'm sure I'll be using it more now because of its Rust Ability.

It wasn't a big surprise that I got 4 legendary cards, but I'm very happy that I got exactly what I needed.

I started the new season from Diamond II in the Wild and Silver III in the Modern, for now I will continue to play in the Modern format and I will try my best to collect more Glint tokens to buy more items from the reward shop, and also increase my SPS stake. Splintershards (SPS) price is incredibly cheap, so now I have made increasing my SPS stake one of my priorities. I'm very surprised that the SPS price has fallen this much, it also looks like it could fall even further, but I'm still very optimistic for SPS in the long term.
