Revived Goals For A New Season.
source
Hi guys,
Welcome to my blog for another entry into the splinterlands social media challenge. The last time I posted about spl it was about a battle mage contest where I spoke about one of my exciting battles and also tried to explain how best you could use some of the cards as summoners to leverage on a certain type of ruleset.
This week we are looking at something quite different. The new splinterlands season has started already and we are already a few hours into it.
Before this season ended I spoke about my goals before the season ends. I spoke about where I’d like to be before the season ended and also my spl staked goal.
Last season I was nearing 4k and all I wanted was to get to 5k before the season ended. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen but I was able to get to 4. Something k before last season ended. Now I have to get to that 5k before the season goes below 10 days. I have a goal of getting to 8k before this current season ends. I wanted to set it at 10k but looking at a a few circumstances and how rough the start of a new spl season is I’ve decided not to put too much burden on myself. The thing is, I am not buying this sps that I am talking about, every time I set an sps goal it means I am going to play battles and earn them. I have a particular number in mind for the short term and then we will see how things go from there.
With a steady rise in price of sps, I think one is not wrong if he or she tries to play and earn as much sps as he or she can.
The next thing that I’ve tried to get to is champion. The thing is that since there has been an up in prizes for wins in modern a lot of people have decided to move to modern and ditch the wild. So we are facing a lot of tougher competition.
The beginning of the season is always tough even in the gold league. I find it really hard to get past gold II at times but then later on in the season, I get an easy pass.
So this season I plan on getting into champion III before this season ends. It’s not a must that I reach and stay there but then getting into that league is a goal for me.
One other thing that I started so well and stopped is tournaments. One thing about me is that I don’t usually like fielding in my teams early when it comes to brawls cause I wanna see my team play before I go into the next battle. I am sure with this it’s the same reason that is pushing me away from tournaments. Most tournaments that I join are anytime tournaments so I usually want to put in my teams real early which ends up not favoring me.
This new season I would like to have a renewed energy for tournaments to which I hope I’ll do justice.
These are a few things that I looked to improve on this season and hopefully I hope I can achieve it.
