Splinterlands Battle Mage Secrets - Silenced Summoners

Hi guys,

Welcome to my blog for this weeks entry into the splinterlands battle mage secrets contest. As you may usher noticed it looks like I’ve abandoned playing on my main account as I mostly play a lot of games on my alt account.

I still play there from time to time; which are mostly brawls. This season I’ve been playing less of spl because of certain factors but am sure as time goes on it will change and then I’ll be back at playing till my energy gets depleted.

This week we have a different Ruleset to look at. I’ll try my best to explain this Ruleset and also explain how you can go about it for a beginner who is reading this post.

The Ruleset for this week is the

Silenced summoner ruleset.

What this means is that you the summoner you choose has not effect on the game. Ability buffs and debuffs doesn’t affect the game. Yes, the summoner you choose will decide on the type of element you’ll use in battle but then apart from all that you have no more advantages of choosing a certain summoner.

One thing that I like about this Ruleset is that players who have the poison Ruleset have nothing on my cards and it helps a lot. Apart from that the other summoner buffs and debuffs that I hate is that one that gives resurrect to all enemy cards and one that decreases your shield by -2.

The other two rulesets in play was holy protection and ferocity.

My summoner of choice was a water summoner with mana 4.

My first position card was diemonshark, a card I like using because of its retaliate ability. It has the trample ability and rage ability as well. It is a melee card with 4 attack.

Next in line was djinn oshanu. A card I like because of its force field ability. It also has the void magic ability and phase ability. it’s a magic card with 3 magic attack and 5 speed.

Next was, deeplurker. A card I like because of its opportunity and poison ability. It also has the demoralise ability. It’s a melee card with 5 attack and 4 speed.

Next was nerissa tridawn. A magic card with 4 attack and 3 speed.

Next in line was merdalli guardian, a healer card that also restores shield.

Lastly, uraeus. A card with opportunity and poison ability.

Let’s rumble.

With the divine shield in play round one looked like a normal round. I was fortunate to perform a few poisonous attacks on my enemy cards hence they were in full effect before we moved to round 2.

With this effect I knew round 2 was going to start with a card from his collection dying.

Well, it seems I was wrong cays that card I thought will die didn’t die and then I had to wait for the next round but before that it contributed to making a whole lot of damage to my cards. My enemy managed to kill 2 of my cards including my healer card.

It took the rage and trample ability of my diemonshark to attack grum and his radiated brute for things to be even going into round 3.

His cards that I poisoned in round 1 also felt the effects now. As it was able to kill one card and leaving the other panting for breath.

Well, even in round 3 my enmy still managed to kill my diemonshark. Djinn and deeplurker did the rest of the work. They managed to vanquish the rest of his cards to win me this battle.
