Splinterlands Art Contest! Week #186 Undead Rexx

Hello dear splinterlandsgamer, hive community and art lovers. Completely impressed by your works I dare to participate in the Splinterlands Art Contest again this week. Congratulations to the winners. Mostly your works intimidate me, so I doubt to participate, but on the other hand they motivate me to become better. So today I present you my latest artwork, inspired by @Splinterlands.

Hallo liebe splinterlandsgamer, hive community und Kunstliebhaber. Völlig beeindruckt von euren Werken wage ich es diese Woche erneut an dem Splinterlands Art Contest teilzunehmen. Meine Gratulation an die Gewinner. Überwiegend schüchtern mich eure Werke ein, sodass ich zweifle teilzunehmen, doch andersrum motivieren sie mich auch besser zu werden. Daher präsentiere ich euch heute mein neustes Kunstwerk, inspiriert von @Splinterlands.

In the first three steps, I repainted the floor plans and the Undead Rexx. This was done on two levels, first the rough floor plans and then more accurately on a new level. Already in the third step I could delete the layer from step 1. In the third step I painted the teeth and bones.

In den ersten drei Schritten habe ich die Grundrisse und den Undead Rexx nachgemalt. Dies geschah auf zwei Ebenen, erst die groben Grundrisse und dann genauer auf einer neuen Ebende. Schon im dritten Schritt konnte ich die Ebene von Schritt 1 löschen. Im dritten Schritt habe ich dann die Zähne, Knochen dazu gemalt.

Then color came into play. With the fill tool I chose different colors and painted him roughly.

Dann kam schon Farbe in Spiel. Mit dem Füllwerkzeug habe ich verschiedene Farben gewählt und ihn damit grob ausgemalt.

In the next step I added a little more color. Just the small dots on the dino's back, the teeth got a little more color and some small things, such as the nostril or other color elements on the body were added. Especially my rough drawing of the eye I did not like, so I changed this.

Im nächsten Schritt kam noch etwas mehr Farbe dazu. Gerade die kleinen Punkte auf dem Dino Rücken, die Zähne bekamen etwas mehr Farbe und noch einige Kleinigkeiten, wie das Nasenloch oder weitere Farbelemente am Körper kamen dazu. Vor allem meine grobe Zeichnung vom Auge gefiel mir nicht, daher änderte ich dies.

Now I smudged the colors a bit to have a better transition to the colors.

Nun verschmierte ich die Farben etwas um einen besseren Übergang zu den Farben zu haben.

Especially the mouth got my full attention in the next step. So the mouth got a darker color, the tongue got its shape and color and the teeth all got a polish ;).

Besonders das Maul bekam im nächsten Schritt meine volle Aufmerksamkeit. So bekam der Mundraum eine dunklere Farbe, die Zunge bekam ihre Form und Farbe und die Zähne bekamen alle eine Politur ;).

Now some shadows were added and the eye got different shades and its shadow. The claws I had not paid attention before, so it was also processed. Here I have also painted with different colors around

Jetzt kamen noch einige Schatten dazu und das Auge bekam verschieden Farbtöne und seinen Schatten. Die Krallen hatten ich zuvor noch keine Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt, daher wurde sie auch bearbeitet. Hier habe ich auch mit verschieden Farben gemalt um

In the next step I worked on the flesh in the mouth and the outline.

Beim nächsten Schritt habe ich das Fleisch im Maul und den Umriss bearbeitet.

And after some more details, like shadows and color transitions, I also repainted the seam in a lighter shade. Then it actually happened to me, I had not saved :( and my work I could not continue. Thanks to the step documentation I just took the last picture from the last step it enlarged and then I had to cut him out first. A little with the colors to give him here and there more shadow and light with incorporated and now I could finally continue to work on the actual project again. But with saving in between!

Und nach einigen weiteren Details, wie Schatten und Farbübergänge habe ich auch die Nähnaht in einem hellerem Farbton neu gemalt. Dann ist es mir doch tatsächlich passiert, ich hatte nicht abgespeichert :( und mein Werk konnte ich nicht weiter machen. Dank der Schritt Dokumentation habe ich einfach das letzte Bild vom letzten Schritt genommen es vergrößert und dann musste ich ihn erst einmal ausschneiden. Ein wenig mit den Farben um ihm hier und da mehr Schatten und Licht zu geben mit eingebaut und nun konnte ich endlich wieder am eigentlichen Projekt weiterarbeiten. Aber mit Speichern zwischendurch!

Now he had somewhat thin legs and I just had to go again to improve especially the edges. Now I worked a bit with the contrast and brightness and was soon satisfied with my work.

Nun hatte er etwas dünne Beine und ich musste einfach nochmal ran um vor allem die Ränder zu verbessern. Nun habe ich noch etwas mit den Kontrast und Helligkeit gearbeitet und war bald zufrieden mit meinem Werk.

After I had fixed my mistake again I couldn't resist to create some animated pictures.

Nachdem ich meinen Fehler wieder ausgebessert hatte konnte ich es nicht lassen ein paar animierte Bilder zu erstellen.

Now it was time for the background. A black background, some nice trees and a magic ribbon running through the Splinterlands world. You could also assume you see a bit of the body of a giant green snake.

Jetzt war der Hintergrund dran. Ein schwarzer Hintergrund ein paar nette Bäume und ein magisches Band was sich durch die Splinterlandswelt zieht. Man könnte auch annehmen man sieht ein wenig den Körper einer grünen Riesenschlange.

The Undead Rexx got a slight greenish shadow and I considered my work finished. I hope I could please you with my contribution and I wish you a great week, see you soon your @sabsel

Der Undead Rexx hat noch einen leichten grünlichen Schatten bekommen und ich habe mein Werk als fertig betrachtet. Ich hoffe ich konnte euch mit meinem Beitrag erfreuen und ich wünsche euch eine tolle Woche, bis bald eure @sabsel
