Starting from Novice (again)

Ok, I had rented out my cards but after a month, I missed playing splinterlands so badly that I canceled my 'filler' account and started playing from the Novice league.

Why filler?
Filler has got a good amount of shiny golden cards that can give me a good amount of points for each game. So, is it for monetary gain? Perhaps not because I do not intend to play furiously as I did before. I love playing splinterlands and I am just playing for the fun part.

It was difficult to win and get through to Bronze 3 and yea, it is hard to believe that I am struggling down below when I used to play in the diamond league all the time but it is what it is. I am happy that I can get to play again and try to learn new techniques as well.

I am not a young player and I do not need to 'earn to play' and I do it now because of my love for this wonderful game. So, please excuse my writing if you find it a bit unprofessional.

I am not part of a guild now but thanks to my earlier guild - the anti-social club. I miss being a part of the Neoxian guild when I played with sayee.

This is a game I played today and thankfully, I earned a chest both for the season and the daily quest. More than the number of chests I might or might not earn, I look forward to playing not only for the fun but for stress relief.

Purchasing packs and getting all those wonderful gold cards and then keeping them safe rather than selling them has actually made me think that I was wise. So, now I can use these cards for playing at my leisure.

If you have read this far, you might think that I have nothing but praise for the game. I too have had my moments with the bots but then I have faced a greater bot army that was the 'th' guys, lol. So, the present-day bots do not seem to pose a threat at all.

As for those spreading fud about the game, they are those who want instant gratification and loads of money with little or no effort on their part. So, if you are a good player and love this game, and realize the goodness of the Hive blockchain, you will not be moved by any of the fear, uncertainty, and doubt.

Those who love to play games are always welcome to Splinterlands. The team is so good that they have never forced the player to buy and then play. The player can create a free account and test 'playing' and then decide whether he or she wants to play. This facility is not given to any other gaming platform. So, there is that. People won't realize it unless they get to experience other such games or platforms.
