Battle Mage Secrets Challenge - Melee Mayhem (DE/ENG)
Diese Woche stehen die Melee Monster im Vordergrund. Denn genau darum geht es in den Battle Mage Secrets. "Melee Mayhem" ist das Ruleset um das sich alles drehen wird. Was es damit auf sich hat und welche Auswirkungen das auf den Kampf hat, schauen wir uns gemeinsam an.

1. Ruleset Melee Mayhem
"Melee Mayhem" bedeutet, dass Nahkampf-Monster von jeder Position aus angreifen können.
Für den Kampf ergibt sich dadurch natürlich mehr Möglichkeiten die Melee Monster einzusetzen wenn diese keinen speziellen Fähigkeiten besitzen. Im Grunde bedeutet dieses Ruleset, dass alle Monster von egal welcher Position aus angreifen können. Für Strategen ist das natürlich sehr erfreulich denn diese können sich jetzt austoben.
Für den Kampf ergibt sich dadurch natürlich mehr Möglichkeiten die Melee Monster einzusetzen wenn diese keinen speziellen Fähigkeiten besitzen. 2. Battle Rulesets
"FabFour" ist das einzige Ruleset das sich zu "Melee Mayhem" gesellt und beide bilden zusammen die beiden aktiven Rulesets für diesen Kampf. "FabFour" bedeutet, dass bis zu 4 Einheiten für den Kampf verwendet werden können. Das Mana Cap liegt bei 17 und die Elemente Wasser, Erde, Tod und Drachen sind aktiv und dürfen für diesen Kampf ausgewählt und gespielt werden.

"FabFour" is the only ruleset that joins "Melee Mayhem" and together they form the two active rulesets for this battle. "FabFour" means that up to 4 units can be used for the battle. The mana cap is 17 and the elements water, earth, death and dragons are active and may be selected and played for this battle.

3. My Team
Für diesen Kampf habe ich mich für das Element Erde entschieden. Obsidian wird mein Team als Summoner anführen und gibt meinem gesamten Team einen Bonus von +1 auf den Magie Angriff. Eine kurze Übersicht über meine restliche Teamaufstellung seht ihr hier:

Hier sind meine Gedanken zur Strategie und Teamaufstellung.
Bei diesem Kampf handelt es sich um eine Brawl Kampf. Aus diesem Grund setze ich bei meiner Strategie auf Quora und ihre Stärke. Meine Entscheidung wird auch dadurch beeinflusst, dass das Mana Cap lediglich 17 beträgt.
Fungus Flinger wird den Kampf auf Position 1 beginnen. Er darf gerne sofort eliminiert werden, denn dadurch aktiviert sich die "Martyr" Fähigkeit und Quora bekommt +1 auf all ihre Stats. Das macht Quora, die ohnehin schon sehr stark ist, nochmal stärker und besser. Aus diesem Grund spielt sie auch auf der zweiten Position, um genau von diesem Boost zu profitieren.
Weiter geht es mit Mycelic Morphoid auf Position 3 und Fungus Fiend auf Position 4. Beides sind Melee Monster die insgesamt nur 1 Mana kosten. Deshalb sind sie sehr gut in diesem Kampf einsetzbar und durch das Ruleset "Melee Mayhem" können sie den Gegner von ihrer jeweiligen Position angreifen und hoffentlich ihren Teil dazu beitragen um zu gewinnen.
Das Team ist somit vollständig und bereit für den Kampf.

5. The Battle
Wie schon vorhin erwähnt, wird der Kampf im Brawl auf Fray 9 ausgetragen. Der Gegner hat sich für das Element Wasser entschieden.

7. Conclusion
Der Gegner hat seine Strategie auf Gladius Monster ausgelegt. Er ist gleich mit zwei Gladius Karten aufgelaufen, jedoch ohne weitere Monster. Anfangs lief es auch nicht schlecht für den Gegner, der meinen Mycelic Morphoid sofort eliminiert und dadurch Bloodlust auslöst. Doch als mein Fungus Flinger ebenfalls eliminiert wurde und Quora geboostet wird, wendet sich das Blatt denn gleich danach wird eines seiner beiden Monster eliminiert. Danach war es nur eine Frage der Zeit und in der dritten Runde konnte ich den Kampf gewinnen.
The opponent has based his strategy on Gladius monsters. He came up with two Gladius cards, but no other monsters. Initially, things didn't go badly for my opponent, who immediately eliminated my Mycelic Morphoid, triggering Bloodlust. But when my Fungus Flinger was also eliminated and Quora was boosted, the tide turned as one of his two monsters was eliminated immediately afterwards. After that it was only a matter of time and I was able to win the battle in the third round.
