My first end of Season!

I am new in the HIVE Blockchain! I started by playing Splinterlands around 2 weeks ago and well, this is my first time finishing a season eventhough I haven't played the full season i manage getting into gold 2
This is what I am using atm, only red and blue.
Questions!
Is there any advice on what to spend my 6655 glints? what should I do with them? maybe save them until i have more?
Also will appreciate any advice on how to get better cards or strategy, anything is welcome!
The best advice will be something you when you wish you knew when you started on Splinterlands.

Use it to buy 12 Rare at 500 Glint each, after you bought 12 gold potions first. Chances are you gonna get summoners, they are the first you need to level if you want to get better quick.
Ok so the best choice will be to buy 12 alchemy potions and 12 rare draw cards. So each potion can be used only once per draw.
