Battle Mage Secrets - Melee Mayhem Ruleset

Good day to you all and I hope that this day is going well for you.

Playing battles on Splinterlands game it's so much fun however I have not been active the last couple of weeks. It was summer vacation and I was traveling with family so did not get much time to write the post however I continued playing the battles whenever it was possible for me. Although there was some time when I was not able to play the battle also because I think family time is important and I try to make the best use of time when I'm with family. Currently Crypto market is down and a similar impact is also seen on the governance token of the game which is SPS.

Playing battle is my daily routine and I enjoy this very much because it is a kind of game that is not just fun but also needs to plan and set up the strategy for the day and also for the battles. Now I am back and after a month I am going to share my battle share post for this week in which the rule set is for the melee mayhem. This rule set is fun because I have so many melee cards and all those can be used in this great rule set. I hope you like the better that I'm going to explain and whatever cards I have chosen for the battle on the battleground.

I am so happy to participate in this week in this battle share challenge and I will explain whatever strategy I followed in the battle. Battle share is a fantastic challenge because this is helpful to learn different rule sets and how to play better in different rule sets in the game. I have completed almost a year with the game but still, there is a lot that I'm still learning and I think that this is going to be the same case for me in this game. I will try to participate every week from now onwards because now I will try to be back on the previous schedule in which I was able to share two Splinterlands posts every week. It's not just about the gaming pose but I'm also not active on other posts so we'll try to follow a better schedule and we'll be back like before on this platform.

Challenge Rule this week - Melee Mayhem

This week we have the rule set called Melee Mayhem and this is good because melee cards can be used and they will be able to attack from any position. These cards are powerful in the game and I have so many so in this battle, I'll be able to choose some powerful cards according to the better mana hopefully this is going to be in my favor and I will win the battle.

Melee units can attack from any position. Prime use case for melee units with Bloodlust.

Cards Picked for the Battle

In any battle, it is very important to choose the right set of cards because if this selection is good then the probability of winning the battle is high. I have tried picking up ride cards for the battle according to the rule set and mana and hoping that this is going to help me win the battle rest you can see how I have done through different cards that are chosen to play on the battleground. I've got 17 mana for this battle which is low and this is why I tried my best to pick the best possible card in this limited mana below are the cards that are chosen-

• Living Lava
• Cerberus
• Ant Miners
• Scorch Fiend
• Furious Chicken

Battle details

This pattern was good and although I got limited mana for the battle but still my selection of cards was good I played very well against the opponent player. As I said before the right selection of cards is very important and this is why I won the battle even though with limited mana for the battle. It's like my strategy worked well in my favor and I'm happy to pick the right cards for the battle on the battleground.

I am also sharing some battle snapshots below about this and I discussed in this post that this is a nice and fun battle.

I won the battle and I also got 103 glint tokens along with 0.48 SPS which is not bad and I am happy to win.

Conclusion

I planned the strategy for this battle and it worked well which is why I won this and got some reward along with twenty ratings added. Sometimes the strategy will set up for the battle works and sometimes it does not but it's fine because in both cases we get the opportunity to play the battle and if we lose then also it is a learning experience. When we win the battle then of course it is good because we get rewarded for this and the rating is also increased which is good for the entire season.
