Splinterlands DHF Proposal is now Funded

Let me be honest with you, I had very little understanding of the DHF proposal on hive. In the last couple of days, I have seen a lot of posts about the proposals submitted by splinterlands and people are sharing their thoughts and opinions. This is what I love about this community as they try to share their views as well as they also spread more awareness among the community members. This is good and I appreciate that I am part of such a fantastic gaming community that is not just limited to gaming but they share a lot of content that is diverse and people like me get the opportunity to explore much more. After reading many posts about this proposal I got curious and finally decided that I would go through it to figure out how this entire mechanism works.

My Understanding of the DHF Proposal

After spending a few hours finally I understood what this proposal was about and how hivers could support or support any project. I also got to know about the return proposal which is like a bar and any proposal must cross that threshold to be funded. This is the snapshot of the splinterlands proposal which is funded right now and I have also voted. This is just about the return proposal and the votes it has received are slightly higher than the return proposal. I hope that they get even more support so that there is no impact on their funding.

The proposal is a part of governance where everyone can vote however the weightage will be based on the HP owned by the person. Delegated hp will not be counted for the vote which means whatever you own will play an important role and this is why hive is the available coin that also plays a role in the governance side.

Splinterlands is needed on Hive

This is another point where I believe that splinterlands should be at hive and this is why it is important for us as a community to support the project. Although I have completed just one year with this gaming project but my journey has been very good. I got to know that this is the first time this project has ever asked for funding support which is understood. The market situation is not doing good and this is why they are trying to manage some of the expenses and I hope this support will help them overcome the tough time. This is a gaming project that generates a lot of transactions and so many people are part of this platform just because of the game. Needless to say that splinterlands is a leading game on the blockchain so we can't ignore its existence and the growing user base.

Conclusion

I enjoyed learning more about the proposal mechanism and how it works. I always say that there is a lot to learn for me and it does not matter how many months or years I have completed but there is a lot which I don't know but I'm trying to know and learn as much as possible. I'm sure that there is something that I may be missing but I will try to go further deep down into this topic and grab more information whatever is possible at my level. I'm glad that this funding proposal has been supported by the hive community and hopefully, it will continue to be the same for the remaining time of the funding which is going to be almost six months. I also hope that the game manages all these challenges in such a way that they overcome and turn out to be even stronger on this platform and in crypto market.
