Hello everyone! Are you ready for another "Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge"? 🌟✨

Whether you're a seasoned player or a newbie, there's something for everyone in this battle challenge. Join us on Splinterlands and become part of the legendary saga of the Battle Mage Secrets Weekly Challenge! ✨🔮

For this week's challenge, we will showcase the 'Little League' ruleset, where only units and summoners with a mana cost of 4 or less may be used. I will share a Wild Ranked Battle. Let's take a closer look at the card I used in this this ruleset and how it contributed to my team's victory.

Little League
Only units and summoners with a mana cost of 4 or less may be used.

Battle Configuration

For this battle, here are the specific rulesets and a mana cap to consider:

Rulesets:
Reverse Speed: Monsters with lowest Speed attack first and have the highest chance of evading attacks.
Counterspell: All Monsters have the Magic Reflect ability.
Little League: Only Monsters and Summoners that cost 4 Mana or less may be used in battles.

Mana Cap: 12
Active Elements: Fire, Water, and Earth

Summoner: Tarsa

  • Tarsa gives +1 Melee and +1 Health to allied monsters. A big factor to consider when one of the ruleset is Little League.

Position 1: Cerberus

  • The Cerberus I used is a level 6 one and has the Retaliate ability in addition to its Heal ability.

Position 2: Kobold Miner

  • This monster unit is my back line attacker and has high power output despite of its low mana cost.

Position 3: Ant Miners

  • This monster at max level has the Scavenger and Shield ability. A good tank for Little League ruleset.

Position 4 and 5: Furious Chicken and Scorch Fiend

  • The main purpose of these monsters are to feed HP to Ant Miners and serve as 2 layers of shield from back line attackers.

Strategy:

The strategy here is to outclass the opponent in terms of power output and attrition. Since Ant Miner has the Scavenger ability and with Little League ruleset, majority of the monsters will have low health, these will easily feed HP to my Ant Miner. Also, I am hoping to use the Retaliate ability of Cerberus to do extra damage to the opponent.

Let's Rumble

The enemy used Tarsa too and summon melee monsters on the battle field. Majority of the monsters on the enemy side has melee attack and Ant Miners' Shield ability will be very useful in this battle.

The fight goes as planned and my monsters were able to easily defeat the enemy monsters. Surprisingly, Cerberus' Retaliate was very effective in dealing additional damage to the enemy.
