Are you a fan of the rich and immersive world behind Splinterlands? This week’s challenge invites you to dive deep into the lore and share your creative take on the stories, characters, and factions that make up the Splinterlands universe!

Challenge Theme: Explore and Expand Splinterlands Lore

How to Participate:

  • Pick a Lore Topic: Visit the official Splinterlands lore site at lore.splinterlands.com and choose a character, faction, or event that resonates with you.

Expand the Story:

  • Write a short story, poem, or character backstory that expands on an aspect of the Splinterlands lore. Use your creativity to fill in the gaps, imagine new adventures, or explore untold histories.

Submit Your Entry:

  • Share your creation in the comments and on social media using the hashtag #Splinterlands.

Ideas for Lore Expansion:

  • Create a backstory for your favorite character.
  • Write about a secret mission or hidden conflict between the factions.
  • Imagine the origins of an important event in Splinterlands history.
  • Develop a new legend or myth tied to the world of Splinterlands.

Tips for Success:

  • Be Creative: Let your imagination run wild—there are no wrong answers in the world of Splinterlands lore.
  • Be Engaging: Draw readers into your story with vivid details and dynamic characters.
  • Be True to the World: Use the existing lore as inspiration but feel free to add your own twist.

Challenge Details

Submission Deadline: The deadline for submissions is 2 days before the post pays out. This is to ensure that our curators have enough time to review all the entries before the next challenge is posted. Your punctuality is appreciated!

Tagging: Don't forget to tag your post with #splinterlands and #play2earn to ensure it's part of the challenge.

Share on Social Media: Share your post on any social media site of your choice. Make sure to include links to both your HIVE post and the social media site you shared it on in the comment section of the challenge post.

What you earn: UPVOTES! Participants who follow ALL the rules will receive upvotes from the @steemmonsters account.

Voting Quantity: You can get a MAXIMUM of 2 upvotes per week, per human. Please limit your entries to TWO posts a week. Take your time, make your posts awesome, and impress us with your Splinterlands skills!

Fair Play: Anyone found using more than one account to enter the contest will be muted in the community and banned from all curation and the possibility for participation in future contests.

Lyveria, in times of yore
Knew peace and rest by royal law.
But when the time of Chaos came
With death, distress, unrest and shame,
It stained their souls and rights disclaimed,
Until Rebellion rose...

A dwarven priest was called upon,
Since Wilhelmdale's king was gone -
The Regent sought for Thedan's aid;
With Fallin's spell his mana made
A shield to guard all those who stayed
To fight and stave the hoard.

The Mana Warden worked his way
Around the siege and bloody fray.
Though old and weak he once appeared,
With steely eyes and long white beard,
The warden's wise enchantments steered
His people to the fight.

Then Enderbeard, with hand held tight -
Warhammer-wielding - led the fight.
The warden's searing eyes of blue
Had sights on one, for which he knew
That when defeated would strike true,
A blow to end the war.

With piercing strikes, Fallin barged -
His people safe; their foes discharged!
This shield, for kinsfolk, did inspire
Victory, fought from desire.
Cried them all, "For crown and shire!"
And saved young Wilhelmdale.

This priest of fame in one foul stroke
Did crush the skull of Valamoke.
With creatures stunned and plans a-thwart
The Chaos splinters all cut short,
Without one left to give report,
Lifefire saved the day.
