Upcoming Release Notes

1-Click Set Rentals

We will add the ability to list a set of cards for seasonal rental. There will be currently one templated set of Chaos Legion Core + Reward cards available to list, the cheapest of which will be presented to new users after they have purchased their Spellbook.

There will be a new Set Rentals section under the Market where you can rent sets and a new Card Sets under Items where you can build sets.

Gameplay Updates

We will add new functionality on the Team Creation screen that will attempt to automatically click the button to submit your team if the timer reaches 0 and you have a valid team. You would still need to sign the transaction in a timely fashion, or have auto sign for the game enabled, for the team to go through.

General Updates

Additional automated measure will be put in place to enforce the TOS. It’s possible this automation may over moderate accounts, and if you run into unexpected issues being banned from a format please submit a support ticket for review.

Will fix an issue with the calculation of days when renewing season rentals that could lead to odd end dates outside the end of season.

In Team Creation, the Melee, Magic, and Ranged sorting options will be replaced with a Power sort that is the sum of all attack values on the card.

Will add the time of day that an unstaking will occur on the SPS Management display tracking when the next unstake event will occur.

Overall Plan

• Biggest plan is to get more players to grow the ecosystem
• Improving the onboarding experience, including the mobile experience
• This will become an ongoing process
• After our conversion rates are in place then we will start marketing and promotional campaigns
• Will be hiring someone who is an expert in Web3 marketing

Soulbound Reward Cards

• New cards and abilities coming up
• When the new soulbound reward cards go out, the current soulbound reward cards will no longer be able to be obtained and will be unbound

Onboarding Experience

• Working to simplify registration and tutorial experience
• Plan to revamp the system in the future
• Referral system will be updated as well

Land

• Working to add new natural resources
• Cryptomancer is working on it
• Planning to incorporate research into other areas of the game so that it has more utility

Skins

• Will be designing a skins and cosmetic system
• Skins may include visual effects as well as new card art, as well as different battle field backgrounds

Outstanding Proposals

• Proposal to Sunset Vouchers into DEC-B (FINAL EDIT DONE - PLEASE READ)

• Alternative Voucher Proposal - Transition from DEC Utility to Exclusive Voucher Items in the Glint Shop

• SPS Governance Proposal - Hire SMC To Develop 5 Promo Card Sales

• SPS Governance Proposal - Hire JPTR Corp to Develop SPS Chain

• Splinterlands DHF Proposal

  • One of the main goals of using the funds from the DHF proposal will be to use it for marketing

  • We have no plans to move off of the Hive blockchain

  • However, the more help we get from the Hive blockchain, the more likely we will be able to stay.
