# Season 56 Report Card - First Time in Silver - Splinter Stats Season 56 Report Card

I made silver 3 league for the first time last season. Up until then, card power had kept me capped at Bronze 1, and while rentals existed on 3rd party sites I didn't take advantage of them at all.

That changed with the integration of rentals into the main Splinterlands UI, so I was able to rent enough to push me over the threshold and into Silver 3.

I was wondering if the total amount spent on rentals would exceed what I made in rewards and I'm glad to see it didn't. But, with the change to Quest Potions, I am definitely being more conservative this season with throwing DEC around. So we'll see if I still end up coming out ahead in the rental cost vs. DEC winnings arena at the end of Season 57.

I had originally set a goal to get to Silver 2 for this season. But considering the changes to Quest Potions and the expected reduction in DEC that goes with that, I may just focus on being content with where I end up this season and make sure I'm participating in as many different types of play as I can like Brawls, Tournaments, and Ranked Play.

Chaos Legion is on the way, and I want to have some saved resources with which to buy packs when it comes out.
