#73 Undead Priest - Splinterlands Art Contest (ENG/ DE)

Hello dear Alien Art Crew, Hive Community and Splinterlands Fans,

This week I'm taking part in our beloved Splinterlands Art Contest with the ancient Undead Priest. The angry zombie priest has taken my fancy this time.

However, I wanted to create my interpretation of this one. I hope you like my version as a portrait fanart.

Hallo liebe Alien Crew, Hive Gemeinde und Splinterlands Fans,

Diese Woche nehme ich an unserem geliebten Splinterlands Art Contest mit dem antiken Undead Priest teil. Der wütende Zombi Priester hat es mir angetan dieses mal.

Jedoch wollte ich meine Interpretation von diesem kreieren. Ich hoffe das euch meine Variante als Portrait Fanart gefällt.

The sketch alone took several hours this time. The coloring and the rest only took 1/3 of the time in comparison.

I had often painted myself in, which you can't see here. I wanted to present a clean process.

Die Skizze alleine dauerte diesmal mehrere Stunden. Das ausmalen und der Rest brauchte im Vergleich 1/3 der Zeit nur.

Ich hatte mich öfters vermalt, was man hier nicht sieht. Ich wollte einen sauberen Prozess präsentieren.

I split the work over 2 days. One day the sketch, the next day the coloring and the rest.

Ich hatte mir die Arbeit über 2 Tage aufgeteilt. Einen Tag die Skizze, am nächsten Tag das ausmalen und der Rest.

At the end I edited the background, where I made a mistake. When erasing, I had partially erased one eye. Oh well. Mistakes happen, unfortunately. I stand by mine and hope that it doesn't stick out soooo much. 😅

Am Ende bearbeitete ich den Hintergrund, dort ist mir ein Fehler unterlaufen. Bei wegradieren hatte ich das eine Auge zum Teil mit weg radiert. Naja. Fehler passieren leider. Ich steh zu meinen und hoffe das es nicht soooo ins Auge sticht. 😅

Now just the finishing touches.

Nun nur noch der Feinschliff.

At the very end, I made a small color change and a little blurring. I also brought out some shine and light so that the contrast between light and dark is more obvious.

Ganz zum Schluss nahm ich einen kleinen Farbwechsel vor und etwas Unschärfe. Auch holte ich etwas Glanz und Licht hervor, so dass der Kontrast zu hell-dunkel ersichtlicher ist.

To translate some of my german native words I used deepl.com. After I edited and corrected some parts because deepl.com couldn't translate all slang words perfectly. Just wanted to make this clear too.
