Government of Pakistan has approved to increase the unit price of electricity. (Which is being called approval of basic tariff increase.

For Lifeline/Protected customers also now the first unit has become around Rs.12.

Now users of 300 units will pay more than Rs.34 per unit.

Note: Taxes are exclusive and fixed charges are also being levied as included in the gas bill.
