Splintersland Journal Day 2 (April 5,2022)
Hello!!!
I'm back with an update on todays progress on Splintersland. First we will start with the stats.
Not much change from yesterday. As you can see from the above screenshot, todays quest was a life quest. Life is one of my least favorite splinters to play. I tried to focus on General Sloan and using the double strike of Pelacor Arbalest.
The biggest issue I had with the quest today was during low mana cost rulesets. My current life cards are limited on backline pressure. Anytime I had a little league ruleset I didn't give life splinter a thought.
Below is the last life battle I won before to complete my quest today. All melee monsters had sneak and 99 mana cost. I was excited about the pull. In all honesty, I don't remember my opponents last five hands. I was laser focused on getting this last life win. I had to win this one. I'll quit my rambling and leave the battle below

The idea was to sandwich Pelacor Arbalest with two tanks. I used the taunt at the last position to control the flow of damage. I grabbed the hightest health in my deck to put in the first position. I decided to go all in on sustain for the rest of the build with tank heal and triage.
I was not excited to see the Mustang in the first position That made my triage monster useless damage wise for a lot of the battle. Once the Mustang went down I had a sigh of relief. That was until I looked at the health remaining left on my Pelacor Arbalest. Once Pelacor Arbalest fell. I watched impatiently hoping the damage remaining on my side was enough to finish the final few rounds.
Overall, uneventful day. Tomorrow I have a death quest to knock out. I also want to talk about the cards I've been looking at to buy.
I appreciate your time
