Ten HSBI and Two DUO Token Giveaway Week 22!

Welcome back to my Sunday 10 HSBI giveaway. Every Sunday I've been at this for 22 weeks now! It's been a great week for me, good weather, not too much stress, and had some decent earnings here on Hive. I hope you all had a great week as well.

This past week I asked participants in the giveaway to share what their favorite toy was growing up. There were a lot of interesting answers. Two answered LEGOs, which is awesome! I still love LEGOs and buy them at thrift shops for resale. There is a lot of demand for them as well as other aging toys. I'll have to do another toy post here in the next few days!

A couple other responses were a Huffy bike, a kids ticket to freedom back in the olden days. I still remember riding all over with my friends when I was young, but we lived in a fairly rural area. Kids today just don't get the same freedom you could have growing up before the 2000's... It's really kind of sad!

Well, onto to today's contest!

Since it's summer there are flowers everywhere. Living in southern California there are flowers most of the year, but not like in summer (or the tropics.) That got me thinking for the question of the week.

Today's question: What are personal favorite flowers?

Mine have always been sunflower because my mom always planted them all over the yard. They bring back great memories for me. Here are a couple I came across last year in a town in a desert area not too far from here. The desert is actually very close to here, just over the mountains to the east, but the traffic makes it feel like another state....

The Giveaway

I will be giving out two prizes of five (5) HSBI. Third prize will be 2 DUO tokens, the token I recently launched with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman . Choosing the Winners

All valid entries will be placed on the Wheel of Names and I will spin it four times. The first prize will be 5 HSBI units. The second prize will be another 5 HSBI units. And the third prize will be two DUO tokens. Fourth prize is a legendary Splinterlands card or one HSBI unit! And since I am spinning the same wheel four times in a row it is theoretically possible for the same person to win all four prizes! Although I have yet to see it happen, maybe this week?

Well, the question is straightforward. My favorite flower is Jasmine. Its fragrance is always soothing. I love them to be in my room, mostly.

But duo tokens would be nice too. It's at least 1% of the tokens needed to participate
However, I guess it's sunflowers I like most. Especially in summer I like watching sunflower fields

I love giving out the HSBI, it really helps people to grown their accounts. I remember when I started giving them away I had 11 units total, about a year later I have close to 2500!

We're real proud of DUO, it's doing awesome and has been growing faster than we anticipated. I've found that even small giveaways help get the word out!

Sunflowers are beautiful though. I'm glad I found that picture in my phone still, I wasn't sure if I had kept it!

A picture I made earlier today. Sunflowers are the favorite flowers of my girlfriend. Mine are definitely roses, more in particular the red ones.

I'm with you on sunflowers, my favorite as well. Thinking of which I need some seeds, haha. We have some great big fields of them in the Dakotas.

They really are awesome. Ukraine used to grow more than anyone in the world with a major export of sunflower oil. It's been years since I've been to the Dakotas, it must be beautiful to see fields of sunflowers there!

Hard to say a favorite flower. I like looking at flowers and their colors but I'm not one to take care of them and know about them. I do like Roses because they can have many possible beautiful colors.

Roses are an amazing breed. So many variants and all are beautiful. I know Rose farms are a huge industry in Colombia, they have some giant fields full of them that they ship off by plane to floral shops around the world!

I have plenty in my yard, roses are pretty and smell great! My biggest problem with them is keeping the aphids away!

These are the best because they bloom all summer long, as long as you “deadhead “ the old blossoms as they wilt!😊

Marigolds are great aren't they? Another favorite of my mom's along with California poppy's. They keep on blooming and are nice flowers!

We had Poppies growing wild in Colorado never had the water them at all! Beautiful color, most of the summer!👍

My favorite flower is the hibiscus. I have this in our backyard; it's not high-maintenance and it always blooms all year round. The best part is that you can also make it into a tea that you can drink.

Gumamela is my favorite flowers, specially those varieties with large petals, this is also not hard to culture , just needs watering.

I confess, that I have many flowers that I like and could call a favorite. However, among all of them, there is one that gets me excited when I see it. That flower is Digitalis, also known as Foxglove.

The flowers call me (and every bee in the area)! I just want to gather them all up and hold them. However, they are also a heart stimulant, so maybe that's not such a good idea! Back in the day (1800's or so) it was utilized as heart medicine. They come in pink, white, salmon peach, and almost purple. There might be more colors, but these are the ones I've seen in my neck of the woods.

Foxglove is beautiful, just as long as you don't have a dog who likes to snack on flowers! They produce a life saving medication and are pretty too!

They are indeed! I have this almost overwhelming desire to take an armload of them and just hold them, but my understanding is that it can possibly transfer through the skin, so I don't.......but I want to!
