The Hypeman: Life of the party
Event photography just as with most things has its enjoyable part and also its stressful parts. One of those enjoyable parts of a wedding is the reception party. A typical Nigerian reception party is all shades of vibe. Various people play collective roles to make the party an enjoyable one and one of those persons is the Hypeman.
The role of a Hypeman in a wedding party in recent times is invaluable. He(She) is literally the life of the party. He engages the audience with games, chants and more. Most times, the Hypeman doubles as a master of ceremony also.
MC. Mickey was the Hypeman at Tammy's wedding party. He is adept in crowd control. He knew what games to play, what names and chants to call and also, the right jokes to share. Mickey vibed and danced with the audience as he asked them to come to the dance floor. Games like "flip the bottle " (where you have to flip a bottle containing some amount of water and make it sit comfortably on the table after flipping) was played.

Hypemen are definitely the life of a party , they'd hype you till you finish all your money trying to spray them , cause they pamper your ego with sweet name calling and proper placement of titles. Plus Nigerians love when they're called and pampered with titles 🤣🤭🤭.
