Today Drawing Card Name: Rush Townsend

Rush Townsend, once the visionary and magnanimous chancellor of the Republic of Fireboro, abdicated his position after the Chaos Empire's conquest. Rather than flee into exile, however, Rush chose to remain in the republic's capital city.

His main concern is not reclaiming chancellorship, but rather the welfare of the republic's citizens. He coordinates delivery of essential supplies to the needy, ensures safe havens for refugees, facilitates underground educational initiatives—everything within his power to lessen the burden of the empire's yoke.

He has become a symbol of defiance and solidarity in the Republic of Fireboro, and Commander Slade, puppet-chancellor of the Chaos Empire, has placed a hefty bounty on Rush's head. But those who remain loyal offer him sanctuary from Slade's legionnaires and those collaborators who aid and abet the empire.
