Last week, I discussed part 1 of my bloodlust article. If you missed this article, just click this LINK . Now, I will continue my article about bloodlust. This time, I will discuss the cards that I often encounter when facing opponents with bloodlust ability.

Are You Not Entertained?

Are You Not Entertained is a rule where you can use 1 Gladius card in battle without using a Soulbound Summoner card. You can use any 1 Gladius card you obtained from the Gladius pack once.

The Soulbound Summoner

The soulbound summoner reward card is a summoner capable of summoning 1 Gladius card in battle. The summoner often used by my opponents is Helios Matriarch because of its speed. They usually pair it with an earth element to summon either Quora Towershead or Katrelba Gobson. Another summoner commonly used by my opponents is Franz Ruffmane because of his ability to summon Captain Kate, who I often encounter in battles. One summoner I rarely see being used is Octavia Shadowmeld. I think I've only encountered Octavia Shadowmeld once in battle, but I defeated her by using Helios Matriarch to summon Katrelba Gobson.

These are the cards that are often encountered with bloodlust ability, especially in bronze and silver leagues. The only non-gladius edition card always use is Jared Scar

MY BATTLE

The Battle condition is a 40 mana cap the elements you can use are fire and earth. The rules are Loast Legendaries and are you not entertained?

I chose Immortalist to grant +1 life, void, and shatter abilities to all units. I expect my opponent will use Quora Towershead because of the presence of the gladius card from the rule to reduce the damage of magic the void from Immortalist can help.

BATTLE LINE-UP

1st Position

CROIRE - Melee attacker with weapons training and flank ability. The flank ability can help to attack my 2nd position monster to 1st position of the opponent.

2nd Position

GRUND - Melee attacker with double strike ability. Because of flank ability of Croire grum can attack to 1st position monster of the opponent.

3rd Position

GOBLIN PSYCHIC - Magic attacker with tank heal and affliction abilities. Because I expect my opponent will use Quora Towershead the affliction can help against the healing of Quora.

4th Position

KATRELBA GOBSON - Melee attacker with sneak and double strike ability. To attack the backline of the opponent.

5th Position

MYCELIC MORPHOID - Melee attacker with thorns ability. To protect my backline from melee sneak attacker.

6th Position

THANE NEWSONG - No attack unit with inspire and strengthen abilities. To grant +1 melee damage to all melee attacker and increase +1 life to all unit.

KEYNOTE

Because of bloodlust, Katrelba Gobson's stats increased from 4 melee damage, 3 speed, and 4 life to being boosted by +4 in all his stats because he killed 4 opponents. Bloodlust only triggers when a monster with this ability gets a kill..

BATTLE HIGHLIGHTS

ROUND 1

• The first bloodlust was triggered by Katrelba Gobson when she killed Mycelic Slipspawn.

ROUND 2

• The 2nd and 3rd bloodlusts were triggered by Katrelba Gobson when she killed Mycelic Morphoid and Regal Peryton consecutively.
• Katrelba Gobson increased her stats from 4 melee damage, 3 speed, and 4 life to 7 melee damage, 6 speed, and 7 life. in round 2.

ROUND 3

• Because Katrelba Gobson is faster than Goblin Psychic, Katrina attacked first.
• Katrelba Gobson dealt significant damage to the life of Goblin Psychic, so with just one attack from the double strike, Goblin Psychic was quickly defeated.
• Katrelba Gobson triggered bloodlust once more, receiving an additional +1 to her stats. The final stats of Katrelba Gobson ended up being 8 melee damage, 7 speed, and 8 life.
• The battle ended in round 3.

LINK TO THE FULL BATTLE

• Bloodlusts are very dangerous when the rules are born again because there is a possibility of triggering it twice on a single monster.
• To counter the bloodlust abilities, you need to use monsters with dispel to remove the additional stats gained from bloodlust.
• The addition of the weapons training ability makes the no-attack monster with bloodlust useful in battle.
