Even the Best Teams Can Fail
Translated by ChatGPT.
Defeat is something entirely normal in Splinterlands, but losses in matches where you've assembled the "perfect team" are extremely painful and hard to accept. However, be aware that perfect teams won't always emerge victorious.
In addition to luck, which has a significant impact on battle outcomes, each variable presented within the combat rules, the vast number of existing cards, and their sets of abilities varying according to level make this mathematics much more complex. Hence, we can never be 100% sure that your team will be able to win a battle until the opponent's team is revealed.

I'll share with you a battle that precisely demonstrates what I'm talking about. My opponent assembled a phenomenal composition that worked perfectly for the set of rules of that confrontation, combining support abilities with the perfect Tank for that situation.
With Kralus in the frontline, it would be nearly impossible to take him down, as Doctor Blight wouldn't be able to apply his Affliction due to the Immunity ability, and my attacks wouldn't inflict more damage than my opponent could heal.
At this point, the choice of summoners made all the difference. Grandmaster Rathe allowed me to amplify the Magic Reflect , enabling me to efficiently eliminate the opponent's support cards, gradually breaking their buffs and debuffs to eventually eliminate Kralus. On the other hand, my opponent opted for Lorna Shine; however, if he had chosen the same summoner, the Repair ability would become effective in this confrontation and could be the game-changer to ensure Kralus' survival.
At the beginning of the third round, when the two cards responsible for reducing my team's damage and healing Kralus were eliminated, the conditions turned in my favor, making it possible to knock down this formidable wall on the frontline.
My matches in Splinterlands are becoming extremely complex yet simultaneously very exciting. Before the Ranked Battle System update, I always played in Gold I throughout the season. Now, without the league lock, I find myself with a 3,350 Rating, almost reaching Diamond I.
This is an absurd evolution, and I'm testing my abilities day by day in ranked battles. There's less than 2 days left until the end of the season, so I'll do my best to reach Diamond I before the season ends. However, for that, I'll need to continue putting in a lot of effort to maintain a high Win Rate 😆.
