Microplastics, Fast Food, and Health

There is microplastics in tap water and most bottled water too, and a good water filter is probably an easy couple thousand bucks
If you’re rich you can almost afford to not be poisoned. I mean it's everything, things packaged in plastic, heck even your toothbrush you slather with abrasive and rub it around in your mouth. It's futile at this point unless you go live a primitive life in the woods.
The big question is, how bad is it for you. I highly doubt our bodies will be able to protect us from normal diseases and sicknesses that you might get, so its pretty much a lose lose no matter what you do
People are so dependent on drugs nowadays as well, I know people that drink 2/3 Paracetamols a day, and I always tell them, if you’re not feeling well its your body telling you something is wrong, all you’re doing is ignoring it. They will never survive in an apocalypse
The history of how the US ended up with high fructose corn syrup vs actual sugar is wild. They really do not care about our health over profits... If you think about it, its actually quite genius of them, There is a reason fast food isn’t regulated, they make your food as unhealthy and expensive as possible, to get a lot of money, then you become unhealthy and go to the hospital and pay a lot of money for medical care, and once you’re healthy again, they give you jello(Sugar) to remind your brain how tasty it is, so you go in an infinite loop until you die. And this is why US healthcare is privatized
Among other things a non US native would find strange, endless commercials about super specific pharmaceuticals.
