10k Staked SPS Goal While the Bear Market Last

I'm presently sitting on 4,000 staked SPS and that's about 40% from my target 10k staked Splintershards (SPS). This goal was not in sight in year 2023 but has become a necessity with the turns of event in the crypto world. It's obvious that we may not this kind of lows in the next couple of years. Agreed that crypto market cycles are made of bulls and bears but it seems that this bear has pushed many assets to the bottom and the lowest of lows.

When looking at the terrific development around Splinterlands, coupled with the trend at which investors stalk around, SPS, being the central cryptocurrency of the Splinterlands ecosystem, one would never think SPS would have hit its all time low (ATL) of $0.0156 and it could go lower in the coming days if $HIVE rises in price as we expect to happen early next week.

Without a doubt, the future of Splinterlands game is bright, especially with he depth of improvements on the game's gameplay and tokenomics. We just witnessed the burning of 542 million DEC valued at around $444k and its all for the good future of the game. The new ATL record for SPS token is a rare opportunity to buy into the game's future wealth. This is crucial with a record all-time-high value of $1.2745 for the same asset, exactly two year ago.

Is it a mere coincidence that June 28 is the present record date for SPS's ATH and June 28 lso records the token's ATL, two years apart. Maybe I am the first to notice that or perhaps there are still more researches to validate why that happened.

In all, having purchased SPS in the price range of 25 Cents, it's a way cheap asset to buy at 1.7 Cent. My push for 10k staked SPS before the end of this bearish run demands that I get more 6,000 SPS and at the present rates, that costs about 300 Hive. I earn 15 Hive daily on the average and it would take about 20 days to raise 300 Hive for 6,000 SPS. Will the price stay down till then?

Despite high level of precision in price fundamentals and predictions, uncertainties is known feature of the crypto space and just anything can happen. We could wake up tomorrow to have everything go green unexpected. But I hope it doesn't happen that fast with SPS.

Splinterlands game has a big future and being a part of that future would depend on one's stake in the game by the quality and amount of asset (fungible and non-fungible held). Wouldn't be taking chances especially as we've witnessed a lot of positive flip in Hive's layer 2 tokens that have renewed utility.

Besides just holding a good SPS stake for the future, enjoying gameplay now on Splinterlands henceforth would demand high SPS stake. The replacement of Collection power in gameplay with SPS staking is about to go live this Q3 and would be a premium source of high demand for SPS. The table below shows the adjusted minimum SPS stake requirement for Splinterlands battle leagues.

Playing higher leagues in splinterlands qualifies a player for higher rewards and its soothing to earn them. I've got to review my SPS staking strategies. This bearish market may not last for too long.
