The Wannabe Magician | Magic Strategy Never Go Wrong

One common thing about all splinterland players is that we all have that strategy we all look forward to make use of immediately a battle pop up, normally these strategizes always depend on some certain criteria's like the mana capped, available element and the ruleset attached to the battle which is very important. Playing the game for years have really make me see things differently, you cant just start a battle and pick anyhow monster cards with the intention of winning, you will be beaten mercilessly, few weeks after joining the game, it was like that and I almost got frustrated until I start getting to know my cards and also read more on abilities, and also I got to watch more top players battle so as to figure out what they are actually doing.
when talking about my favorite strategy, I have two which I place above all strategy, back then when I still play in wide format, I love the swiftness strategy, I tagged it the game of speed and almost everyone use it, expect in a reverse ruleset case, the higher you cards speed, the high chance of attacking first because the rule is, the highest speed card attack first while the one with low speed attack last, so in most cases, I do make sure I have 2-3 extra cards in my battle formation with the swift ability so as to activate the game of speed, also the higher your speed, the higher chance of making your opponent cards miss their target which is really good and give you upper advantage in battle, only few average players know this strategy. My second strategy which I will be sharing this time is the Magic card strategy which is also useful and also depend on the battle requirement given, based on the card stats detail, magic cards are the only card that can hit cards health directly while neglecting the armour attached to it, more reason why players love using magic cards especially the one with huge strength or used void ability to prevent magic card users.

There is this battle I had and showcase the strategy, we had 57 mana with the equalize ability and we could pick any element except fire and death element, my best go to for magic strategy is either water element (which is always my first option) or earth element, so I picked dragon paired with water this time around, first of all, my frontline is always a melee card so I picked djinn chwala to hold the first position for the main time, I pick djinn oshannus next as my first magic cards with anti magic ability, then picked Chaos dragon, one of the top mana card with blast effect, the scattershot even make it interesting, Larrissa Kerato is also a good option with double strike ability but with the equalizer, it is a good option to use in this strategy, then riverboat captain with the blast and affliction and lastly was venari wavesmith to add because of the protect ability. Before selecting all this cards, I make sure I pick some certain abilities that will work hand in hand and also against what my opponent might be using.
Us having the same health, really put us on equal stand but the protect I use, made it hard to hit my health with the first attack but he came with a healer which want to give him upper hand but thanks to my chaos dragon which keep targeting it to make it weaker, at some point affliction got activated and that prevent him from healing his djinn oshannus, it was well planned. When I destroyed his oshannus, the winning path opened because his cards were now weaker compare to mine and I won the battle. Using purely strong magic cards is a big turn up and give you clear chance most of the time.
