PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 17 Aug 2024

Greetings to all, we right fresh off a recent brawl for PIZZA 2 that concluded few about 1 day ago and now all the guild members are all reviewing through our own matches in that brawl and getting ready to fill up the frays that we usually do well in. I will be sharing all the matches that I've engaged in the latest brawl. With the newest way wins are calculated, participation is a key now to help win 50% of the brawl, by filling, half the battle is done rather than giving away free wins to opponents. So every match and participation counts and we need more people joining us and fill up those empty frays!

Since the start of Rebellion introduction, I have now changed my Brawl Fray to Fray 4 for my guild which is the fray that uses only Chaos Legion and Rebellion Card. This is good because now that I play in modern, competing brawl in this format will be just like playing a normal rank battle. By participating in this fray, I get exposed to more rulesets to refine my playing in daily rank matches. I am glad this time round no miscomm and I am back at the fray I am most comfortable with. 	Remarks
Selection:	Corrosive Fog, Holy Protection and Opportunity. For the mana cost, I chose Quora and some martyr cards in hope that she will be boosted sufficiently and then turn the tide and win things.
Outcome:	Win! Everything went as planned, Quora just bulldoze her way through and secure the win with ease when the 2 martyr cards get killed.

Brawl 2

	Remarks
Selection:	Equalizer, Are You Not Entertained, Up Close and Personal. Equalizer signify putting more cards and Quora works well for Up Close and Personal. With the Gladius ruleset, of course I will get her favourite buddy Katrelba to assist and do some crazy damage.
Outcome:	Win! Easy peasy, when this two Gladius come togeher, they are close to unstoppable as the chew from front and back making it super tough for my opponent.

Brawl 3

	Remarks
Selection:	Close Range, Aim True and Armoured Up. With such a ruleset combination, I again used Quora with a crew of healing in the backline and also a reach creature to assist in my attack.
Outcome:	Win! An almost walk in the park for me with my usual star cards doing their work with the combo applied on Slipspawn and Spirit Hoarder to divert magic attack their way.

Brawl 4

	Remarks
Selection:	Neutral only, 5 cards and Aim True. Another problematic ruleset where I do not have many cards, again I put in whatever I have and also the new Drybone Raider hoping to win.
Outcome:	Lose. Was totally outmuscled by my opponent. His Mantaroth is a beast that is so hard to take down with a repair in the backline.

Guild Final Tally

I am assigned 4 matches this brawl and managed to win all 3 of out 4 of them with no one fleeing this brawl. There is also a bonus 4 wins added to the tally because of poorer participation from other guilds. Wow the match that I lost, really was a tough one with how my opponent deploy Mantaroth to hold the front and it was so tough to take it out.

Looks like we stabilized a little and now in the range of position 4. Not too bad and not too good. Not easy as we see again a big gap in terms of win from position 3 which we really need to rally more people to come in and join us. Let's continue to do our thing and get the best out of what we have. Go PIZZA 2!
