PIZZA 2 Brawl Report - 21 Aug 2024

Greetings to all, we right fresh off a recent brawl for PIZZA 2 that concluded few hours ago and now all the guild members are all reviewing and looking through our own matches in that brawl and getting ready to fill up the frays that we usually do well in. I will be sharing all the matches that I've engaged in the latest brawl. With the newest way wins are calculated, participation is a key now to help win 50% of the brawl, by filling, half the battle is done rather than giving away free wins to opponents. So every match and participation counts and we need more people joining us and fill up those empty frays!

Since the start of Rebellion introduction, I have now changed my Brawl Fray to Fray 4 for my guild which is the fray that uses only Chaos Legion and Rebellion Card. This is good because now that I play in modern, competing brawl in this format will be just like playing a normal rank battle. By participating in this fray, I get exposed to more rulesets to refine my playing in daily rank matches. I am glad I've manage to be in modern fray again, thought I was a little worried because I've yet to obtain any rebellion soul bound cards. Let's start the battles!

	Remarks
Selection:	Scattershot and Rise of Commons. With this, I prepared my sneak and opportunity fire squad. Gobalano also selected because of the ambush ability. Hopefully this selection is enough to land me the win.
Outcome:	Win! I had just enough to win the match with every card attacking landing especially on the 6 speed Ajax Lightfoot and subsequently on a boosted Drybone Barbarian. Nice win from the squad.

Brawl 2

	Remarks
Selection:	Fire and Regret, Lost Magic and Even Stevens. This ruleset combination makes it hard and effectively narrow down the selection to just melee card. However, I included Tinderlock because I cannot fill up the mana sufficiently while using a fire splinter.
Outcome:	Win! A good one where my double protect really set my lineup apart to have more armour than my opponent and both Mad Ogre and Arkemis doing their part to take up my opponent's defence by hitting real hard.

Guild Final Tally

I am assigned 3 matches this brawl and managed to win all 3 of them with 1 opponent fleeing this brawl, giving me a clean sweep for this brawl. There is also a bonus 4 wins added to the tally because of poorer participation from other guilds. I am really glad that after a few brawl, I have managed to once again secure a clean sweep. In terms of lineup selection, I think I manage to do it well and clear off my opponents whom fielded equally strong lineups as well.

Looks like we stabilized a little and again we landed in position 4. I think with the amount of activity that we have in the guild and the number of active participants that we have, this is probably the best we can get unless anyone above us slips up. Let's continue to do our thing and get the best out of what we have. Go PIZZA 2!
