Hi, everyone. Welcome to my post. In the Social Media Challenge, I will discuss anything about SPLINTERLANDS, it can be about cards, abilities, rulesets, battle reviews, End of Season results, or my playing experience.

This post will share my battle where Void Dragon survived because of Oshuur Constantia.

Oshuur Constantia

Oshuur Constantia is a Promo Card that can be obtained if you buy the RIFTWATCHER PACK during the Presale (same as Doctor Blight for the CHAOS LEGION Pack or Mantaroth and Grimbardun Smith for the REBELLION Pack). Oshuur Constantia is a Legendary card for Dragon Splinter.

At the first level, Oshuur Constantia has the RESURRECT ability which allows it to resurrect monsters in its stronghold although it can only be used once per battle. It is just like River Hellondale in Water Splinter and Adelade Brightwing in Life Splinter where they are Magic monsters that have the RESURRECT ability and have 7 Mana points.

At the second level, Oshuur Constantia gets the REFLECTION SHIELD ability. REFLECTION SHIELD is an ability that can protect it from the impact damage of BLAST ability (if it targets nearby monsters). Because it is a Magic monster, REFLECTION SHIELD can be useful to protect it from monsters that have the MAGIC REFLECT ability and there is no need to be afraid even if it is used in the COUNTERSPELL Ruleset.

And his last ability (TANK HEAL ) is obtained when he is at level 3, while at level 4 he only receives an addition to his stats. TANK HEAL can only be used to heal monsters in the first position (TANK)

And below is the moment when my monster was saved thanks to the TANK HEAL ability of Oshuur Constantia.

Battle

The ruleset for this battle is FOG OF WAR (SNEAK, SNIPE, and OPPORTUNITY abilities do not work in this ruleset), BORN AGAIN (All monsters in the arena receive additional abilities in the form of REBIRTH ), and EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY (All monsters in the arena receive additional abilities in the form of BLAST )

In the first round, Void Dragon attacked Diemonshark first, putting him in RAGE mode. The BLAST effect that was supposed to hit Tide Biter was negated because he had the REFLECTION SHIELD ability.

Diemonshark and Angelic Mandarin tried to attack Void Dragon but missed. Meanwhile, Tide Biter who has the TRUE STRIKE ability easily hurt Void Dragon and gave BLAST to Vruz. However, Oshuur Constantia healed Void Dragon, and she attacked Diemonshark (the BLAST effect did not hurt Tide Biter).

In the second round, Void Dragon attacked Diemonshark again but this time Diemonshark managed to land its attack on Void Dragon while defeating Vruz for the first time. Vruz came back to life using the REBIRTH ability, then Void Dragon and Oshuur Constantia* received an additional 1 point to all their stats.

Oshuur Constantia healed Void Dragon and attacked Diemonshark. Angelic Mandarin and Tide Biter attacked Void Dragon and defeated Vruz twice in a row. In the second defeat, Vruz was revived using Oshuur Constantia's RESURRECT ability while the third was his final defeat. Because of this, Void Dragon and Oshuur Constantia received an additional 2 points on their stats.

In the third round, Diemonshark was defeated by attacks from Void Dragon and Oshuur Constantia* (although it could revive using its REBIRTH ability). Oshuur Constantia had healed Void Dragon before making the attack.

Angelic Mandarin failed to hurt Void Dragon. Meanwhile, Tide Biter who has TRUE STRIKE attacks Void Dragon but the BLAST effect can be avoided by Oshuur Constantia because he also has the REFLECTION SHIELD ability.

In the fourth round, Void Dragon defeated Diemonshark again and made Tide Biter fill the first position. Tide Biter took damage from Oshuur Constantia and Torrent Fiend took damage via BLAST .

Angelic Mandarin healed Torrent Fiend and attacked Void Dragon. Followed by Tide Biter who also attacked it. Oshuur Constantia was unharmed despite being hit by BLAST.

In the fifth round, Tide Biter was defeated twice by Void Dragon and Oshuur Constantia respectively. While Oshuur Constantia defeated Tide Biter, he also defeated Torrent Fiend for the first time. Angelic Mandarin successfully landed his attack on Void Dragon.

Torrent Fiend was defeated again in the sixth round, and now by attacks from Void Dragon. Meanwhile, Angelic Mandarin was defeated twice in the seventh round by attacks from Void Dragon and Oshuur Constantia* respectively.

Battle Review

Although only 2 SPEED points difference, actually Diemonshark could have attacked Void Dragon. Even while in RAGE mode, Diemonshark had matched the SPEED of Void Dragon and injured it once. But because Vruz was defeated 3 times, their speed difference was again 3 points different. In addition, Void Dragon has the FLYING ability which makes the possibility of his attack succeeding also decrease.

Although Void Dragon can dodge almost all attacks, it could have been defeated by Tide Biter which has TRUE STRIKE ability if there was no help from Oshuur Constantia. The rental price of the level 3 Oshuur Constantia card which is not too expensive makes me decide to take it. And evidently, the existence of Oshuur Constantia is quite important especially because at level 3 he already has TANK HEAL ability to heal Void Dragon so that he can survive the opponent's attack.
