Hi, everyone. Welcome to my post. In the Social Media Challenge, I will discuss anything about SPLINTERLANDS, it can be about cards, abilities, rulesets, battle reviews, End of Season results, or my playing experience.

In this post, I will share my experience using Prismologist which is quite helpful to defeat multiple opponents in one attack.

PRISMOLOGIST

Prismologist is an Epic Card from Life element for Chaos Legion edition. It has a fairly high Attack power at the initial level, but it is not balanced with SPEED, ARMOR, and Health points which have not too much. Because Prismologist has high Attack power, the Mana required to use it is also quite large (and that makes it unsuitable for use when in battles that only provide a little Manacap, especially since it is a Ranged attack monster that cannot attack when it is in the first position).

For abilities, Prismologist gets 3 when she is at her maximum level. At the first level, Prismologist has the BLAST ability which is very useful for dealing additional damage to monsters that are near the target of his attack. However, with the amount of SPEED that is not high, sometimes his attacks will be missed if the target has a higher SPEED than him. This BLAST ability will be very effective if played on the AIMLESS ruleset where the attack targets of Magic and Ranged monsters will be different in each round.

While at level 2, Prismologist has the FORCEFIELD ability which is useful for minimizing damage when attacked by monsters that have ATTACK POWER of 5 points or more. This ability will only be useful if Prismologist is the unit that has the lowest Health points of all units in the formation because monsters that have a large ATTACK POWER are mostly Melee monsters. And to be able to attack him, the Melee monster must have the OPPORTUNITY ability or SNEAK ability (if Prismologist is in the last position).

And the last ability he received was SILENCE . SILENCE is an ability that is devoted to reducing the Attack Power of the opponent's Magic monster by 1 point. This ability is arguably very useful, especially when opponents use Magic monsters more often in each battle.

Battle

The ruleset for this battle is BLOOD AND SUNDER (All monsters receive an additional ability in the form of CORROSIVE WARD ), and FEROCITY (All monsters receive an additional ability in the form of FURY )

I used Prismologist and put it in the last position because it is unlikely that the opponent will use a monster that has SNEAK ability (because Water Element is not included in the elements available in this battle). Meanwhile, the opponent uses 1 monster that has the TAUNT ability despite being in the FEROCITY Ruleset.

In the first round, thanks to the FEROCITY Ruleset, Void Dragon, Supply Runner, and Prismologist managed to defeat Iziar. However, it gave the opponent an advantage by adding 1 point to all Stats of Mantaroth and Adelade Brightwing (Iziar was also revived). Iziar was again defeated by my Adelade Brightwing and the opponent's 2 monsters received an additional 1 point of Stats. Vruz who only has 1 Attack power cannot deal damage to Mantaroth who has SHIELD ability. Meanwhile, Chaos Dragon targeted its attack at Supply Runner and the effect of BLAST hit Adelade Brightwing and Venari Crystalsmith.

Vruz was defeated first by attacks from Supply Runner and Venari Crystalsmith. The second defeat was due to the ARMOR attack from Mantaroth. From these 2 defeats, Void Dragon received an additional 2 points on all of his Stats. Void Dragon, who is now in first place, received attacks from Mantaroth and Adelade Brightwing*.

In the second round, Mantaroth was hit by attacks from Void Dragon, Supply Runner, Prismologist, and Adelade Brightwing. Meanwhile, Chaos Dragon managed to defeat Adelade Brightwing and Supply Runner.

Venari Crystalsmith failed to land his attack on Void Dragon while Mantaroth managed to defeat him. Temporal Master successfully attacked Chaos Dragon who was in first place replacing Void Dragon.

In the final round, Venari Crystalsmith lost to the BLAST effect of Chaos Dragon's attack directed at Mantaroth. Supply Runner and Prismologist defeated Mantaroth, while Temporal Master was defeated by Adelade Brightwing.

Review

Despite being in the FEROCITY Ruleset, the opponent has chosen the right monster with TAUNT ability (as I explained here). However, what is a little unfortunate is that he uses Mantaroth which has the ARMORED STRIKE ability while in the BLOOD and SUNDER Ruleset. That makes the 2 ARMORs of Mantaroth disappear permanently every time he launches an attack so that the attack from ARMORED STRIKE is not optimal.
