Im still unsure if the game itself is financially viable anymore!!??!! Ive read the most recent posts by @splinterlands and the financial setup they now find themselves in....

Made CHAMPIONS III again. With a respectable W:L ratio. Happy to have made the champions league once again. Its the only way to claw back some of the value i now have to pay to play the game

The lack of staked SPS has killed my rewards again. To be honest, it doesnt really mater as the cards are not really worht the grind anymore

I think there are a lot of people who feel the same way as you. I know several large holders who are just waiting for the price to go up a bit and they plan on getting out. I still haven't decided what I am doing yet. I've invested so much time and effort into the game over the past half decade or more.
