I'm still learning the TERRACORE Gitbook!
Alright, I found some extra time to delve deeper into this game, and here's what I've learned so far. I'm sharing this both as a way to reinforce my understanding and in case I've misunderstood something—I trust the community members will correct me in the comment section. Furthermore, for the sake of transparency, I acknowledge that I plan to use the blogging rewards to cover the cost of my citizenship.
Anyways, here it is:
Crates:
These boxes contain Terracore items, and what makes it interesting is that you can get them in different ways—by making them, buying them, or getting them as rewards from beating bosses. This brings a mix of planning and variety to getting items in the game.
Relics:
Creating 100 powerful artifacts to get a box of similar rarity introduces an interesting way to progress in the game. The idea that relics are the main rewards from Quests makes the gameplay more interesting. This will motivate players to go on quests to improve their collection of items.
Potions:
Adding items you can use for a short-term boost in your stats is a cool feature in TERRACORE. Talking about special potions that can make players invincible for a little while brings an exciting strategic aspect, letting players use these resources cleverly in important times.
Damage:
The connection between a player's Damage stat and their ability to attack others with lower Defense adds a competitive and strategic element. This system encourages players to fine-tune and balance their stats, bringing in a planning and decision-making aspect to player interactions.
Staking $SCRAP tokens:
Allowing on-chain staking to increase the Stash size is a clever economic feature. However, the caution about passive $SCRAP rewards stopping once the maximum Stash size is reached introduces a resource management element, urging players to carefully plan their token staking strategy.
Favor:
Burning $SCRAP tokens to gain Favor, which unlocks new game modes, creates an interesting trade-off. This system presents a strategic choice for players, highlighting the importance of allocating resources and making decisions in the game.
In short, TERRACORE seems to provide a varied and captivating gaming experience on the Hive Blockchain. The mix of different ways to acquire items, progression systems, strategic elements, and economic considerations enhances the game's complexity and appeal. I'm curious to see how I and other players handle these mechanics and influence the evolving dynamics of the TERRACORE universe.
