Nick Aldis and Adam Pearce Competing for the New Superstars
With every Royal Rumble hosted each year, we see a couple of superstars make their WWE debuts and for others, returns. This year's Rumble had a lot of impressive wrestlers join the roster. The decision now becomes which brand they would continue their journey on – either SmackDown or Raw.
This is a significant decision because it would determine the kinds of people each can compete against until there is a superstar shake-up. Now, this is not just a big deal for the talents themselves but also for the General Managers of the Brands. Sometimes, it's not about your skills as a manager, but the ratings of wrestlers you have on your brand. If someone has got a mega star like The Rock appearing on his show, views would skyrocket, and the brand will do well. Praises would go to that particular manager.
This is why we saw something like a competition last Friday between the two managers:
Nick Aldis - Smackdown Manager.
Adam Pearce - Raw Manager.
For Bron Breakker and Jade Cargill (the most talked-about wrestlers who debuted)
If WWE really wants an electrifying WrestleMania 40, it would be obvious that Jade Cargill (one of the superstars who made a debut at the Rumble) would be signed to SmackDown. That way, she would be able to go up against Bianca Belair, based on fans' preference for this year's Wrestlemania.
We saw an intense and impressive face-off between the two at the Rumble, which left fans wanting more. I believe WWE told those two not to battle but only stare down and face off as a form of a promo.

Bon Breakker, who also had a super impressive in-ring performance during the Rumble, might likely sign up on Raw. I believe he will be a worthy opponent for Gunther. The thing is, Bon Breakker is sort of playing the dominant role Brock Lesnar was supposed to play during and after the Rumble. But due to certain legal issues, Brock has been suspended from the WWE. It was anticipated by fans that Brock might go up against Gunther at Wrestlemania. This only means that Bon Breakker might have to pick up that role.
What's your thoughts on this?
Do you think this would be a good placement of brand for these WWE freshmen?
Either way, we will get our answer tonight and this Friday in the next episodes of Monday Night RAW and Friday night SmackDown.
