Djinn Chwala and Naga are great. I own all three cards but rarely use Twilight Basilisk just like you. But I also make use of Kretch so I can incorporate lvl 2 Common cards to get a slight edge in Bronze battles.

upgrade it to level 2 and use level 3 cards, and you may reach silver easily
make neutral cards level 3, is easier.
